The reality of the equality men and women in Bahaism. Between

When it is said “the equality between men and women in Bahaism” or any other issue; in fact, it doesn’t differ to say Abdul Baha and that issue; because the real architect of Bahaism is Abdul Baha [1]. It is true that the founder of this cult is Bahaullah, but the fact is that someone, Abdul Baha, has grown and raised this cult and expanded his thoughts across the world.

Abdul Baha has claimed too much about women’s rights. He speaks continually in the book “the sermons” about the followings issues: man and woman are both human beings and both are wings of a bird to fly. If a community is going to fly, it will be done with these wings. However, he insisted on those middle age thoughts of Bahaullah and he just spoke about the equality between men and women. but he has never paid attention to it in practice.

After Abdul Baha died, he appointed Shogi Effendi as his successor while Shoqi Effendi was a young man who was studying in Cambridge university, England and wasn’t interested in being the head of the cult [2].

However, Abdul Baha’s sister, Bahaiyeh Khanom had a comprehensive knowledge about Bahaism and was aware of proselytizing affairs very much and was always Abdul Baha’s companion and aid every time. As a matter of fact, it can be said that the sagacity and ability of this woman about Bahaism is undeniable, but the patriarchal thought of Bahaism prevented Abdul Baha to make his will about his sister Bahaiyeh khonom’s succession. It shows that there isn’t any thought the equality between men and women basically in Abdul Baha’s mind.

Concerning the membership in the universal house of justice, Abdul Baha’s verdict is that women are not allowed to be the member of the universal house of justices but men are allowed. This issue Can be investigated in Abdul Baha’s words and phrases. When he was opposed, he answered the providence of this issue will be clear in the future; that is, he evades to answer this question.

In heritage commandments and the other ones, it can be observable that the women’s rights have been ignored. Abbas Effendi (Abdul Baha) do nothing being completely aware of the issue. It shows that not only the equality between men and women not has no place in Bahaullah’s thought, but also in practice it is just a vain slogan.
