The economic struggles of Abdul Karim Ayadi [1], one of the influential leaders and prominent Baha’i brokers had various faces. Ayadi’s relationship and position like a local Baha’i comprador were used to provide all-around benefits of the Baha’is particularly in political-economic domains in Pahlavi regime structure. He has applied mechanisms and means to bond economy, policy, security and culture of Iran with the universal capitalism [2].
More exactly, a glance at his activities will draw his activism well. That how interior and international capitalisms the government in developing find each other and provide their interests.
In addition to directing the Bahaism organization, Ayadi was active in economic, military, security and cultural aspects. Regarding Ayadi’s position in Pahlavi court, the nature of Ayadi’s activities are practically beyond economic struggles.
This prominent comprador of Bahaism who could enter into Pahlavi court as the special physician of the shah late World War II became one of the closest and special friends of the shah and this presence continued to the end of Pahlavi government.
His power and influence were too high that he was interested by the heads and high-ranking officials of the foreign countries particularly European and multinational companies and the western intelligent services.
Supporting people related to this cult all-around in various parts of Pahlavi government was of his management strategies. Habib Sabet and Hojabr Yazdani were continually being supported by him.
After 28th of Mordad coup and regarding the presence of Ayadi in the powerful ministry of the court, he employed the people related to Bahaism organization in important posts of economy, policy, culture and military and formed various mafia and espionage bands.
In addition to serving the members of this cult, he was extremely active in espionage field for the American and British intelligent service. He was managing and supervising a group of spies and agents.
The activities of the Baha’i Ayadi who was the real king of Iran were too extensive that he was going to be assassinated by the members of Mo’atalefeh board during Hassan Ali Mansour assassination.
Although Ayadi has had close relationships with the Shah for more than 30 years, his name hasn’t been mentioned in the book “the memoirs of Muhammad Reza” and this note indicates the intricate and enigmatic nature of this prominent and powerful broker of Bahaism in the structure of Pahlavi government well.
Ayadi played an important role in the expansion and development of the relationships between Iran and Israeli regime which was ended in Imam Khomeini’s (P.H.) reaction to the danger of seizing the economic independence of the Iranian country by Israel and Bahaism.
The 80-job Ayadi used all of his capacities across the country for himself and other people related to Bahaism organization and provided facilities for the for the Jewish and Baha’i businessmen to exploit the governmental facilities.
Providing the main part of the army requirements from abroad particularly from America and England ordered by Ayadi stroke the security of the country severely. Supporting importing agricultural and animal products by Ayadi increased the country dependence on foreign food products day by day.
Regarding the nature of the brokerage of this cult for foreign agent, Ayadi was continually trying for army stores to be empty of provision to strike the military and security power of the country.
Financial misusing in purchasing military equipment, importing substandard and corrupt drugs and land grabbing caused dissatisfaction very much among people. This broker supported by Bahaism cult was interacting international capitalism well.
Ultimately, the increase in oil export revenues, issuing unaccounted bank credits, the flood of imports particularly various kinds of foodstuff, the damage to agriculture and livestock sectors, the high inflation, economic corruption and plunder by the members of this cult especially Ayadi, Hojabr and Habib Sabet Pasal, were too extensive and widespread that Pahlavi government can just be called the usurp system of government.
The presence of Ayadi in the Pahlavi court and the activities of Bahaism organization damaged the prestige and reputation of the Pahlavi regime seriously and played a key role in weakening and collapse of Pahlavi regime.
