First of Azar a news was published in the deviant cult of Baha’ism sites entitled “Pedram Abhar, a Baha’i citizen residing in Tehran city was arrested on Aban 30 on Sunday by the security forces and was transferred to an unknown place. At the time of arrest, the police inspected Mr. Abhar’s father’s house in Shiraz city and confiscated some personal things of the family and also the photos, books and works related to the Baha’i faith [1]. Today at noon, Azar 2 on Tuesday, inspected this citizen’s house in Tehran city[1] [2].”
Contrary to the Baha’i leaders’ order the Baha’ism organization called its followers to proselytize in Iran extensively in order to exploit its results concerning pretending to be oppressed in addition to recruitment.

- The Baha’i media are trying to introduce the reason for this Baha’i citizen’s arrest as believing in the Baha’i cult while it has confessed confiscating his written and electronic proselytizing means related to the deviant cult of Baha’ism. The Baha’ism organization knows and must know that proselytizing to take Muslim out of their religion is illegal and is a crime in Iran as it is illegal in Israel as the landlord of the deviant cult of Baha’ism. That is, even the followers of the formal religions of the country aren’t allowed to proselytize against Muslims aggressively[2] [3]. Of course, the freedom of religion and prohibition of evangelical and aggressive proselytizing are two different problems. Consequently, the freedom of belief can’t be considered equal to preaching it.
- How is it possible to be the proselytizer of an illegal cult in the country and the reason for a\encountering is considered as personal beliefs?! A cult which is a political organization whose aim is to overthrow the system of Iranian government than to be a belief. This organization has started its enmity against the system of the government of Iran before the establishment of revolution in Iran and has continued so far by various methods[3] [4]. Thus, membership in such organization and proselytizing and preaching for it can’t be accompanied by perfect freedom and legal support.
- If believing in Baha’ism were a crime, now all the Baha’is of Iran should have been imprisoned so far! While the number of the Baha’is prisoners than the claimed population of the Baha’is of Iran is trivial.[4] [5]
- It is interesting to be known that the deviant and illegal books were found in this Baha’i proselytizer’s house while the leaders of Baha’ism have announced that publishing and preaching book are illegal without the government’s permission: “The divine definite issue is that government must be obeyed. It doesn’t need any interpretation…[۵] [6].”
