Bahaism is an adopted creed

According to researchers searching Bahaism [1], Bahaism hasn’t brought any new word for the world today which is decongestant. The Baha’i teachings such as the oneness of humane world, the equality between men and women, and the general peace, establishing parliament, the oneness of language and etc. are not new word and they have been posed in the west previously.

Bahaullah who was interested in studying foreign newspapers and magazines became aware of political, social and cultural transformations directly or via general thoughts or published leaflets in Egypt [2] and Turkey and brought new viewpoints and thoughts without pointing out their resources in his messages and speeches and recorded them under the title of divine teachings.

Moral statements, theological commandments and religious discussions posed by Bahaullah and Abdul Baha have been typically adapted from Babism, Islam and Christianity and have been presented as divine to illuminations to the followers. During Bahaullah’s period of time, it wasn’t possible for his speech origin to be achieved due to the distance among countries and the lack of communicative technologies and the Baha’i heads could state philosophers, the open-minded and thinkers’ findings by their names.

Dr. Wilson points out in his book called “Bahaism and its claims” in the title of “Bahaism and imitating Christianity to some of these plagiarizations.

Baptism: Abdul Baha says about baptism: ” Baptism indicates asking for repentance and forgiving sins. In this Baha’i period of time, this symbolic action isn’t needed; because the baptism reality is fulfilled via the holy spirit and the divine love.”

Of course, they have made an imitative alternative for it. Abdu Baha says it this regard: “You have asked about naming your offspring. HoId a gathering and say prayer. Bend and ask God for your offspring guidance. Then name it. Then, drink and eat sweetmeat. This is the spiritual baptism.”[۱] [3]

Lord’s supper: It was a memento of Jesus loyalty. In Bahaism, it is set aside and substituted by unity celebration bearing several signs of the Lord’s supper. Abdul Baha says about it: ” This unity celebration must be held to be the memento of that old celebration, the Lord’s supper.”[۲] [4]

One of the other imitative cases from Jesus speech and deed is pretending to be savior. In Chicago and other places, the kids reached out their hands toward Abdul Baha to be blessed. He called them to pat their heads to bless.

In the book Aghdas, Bahaullah has presented words and phrases which are similar to Jesus ones.

Jesus says in the Bible: “Don’t let your hearts to be harassed and worried.”

Bahaullah says: Don’t be in trouble.”

Jesus says: “I am always with you.”

Bahaullah says: “We are with you in each condition.”

Jesus says: “I will see you again.”

Bahaullah says: “We will see you again.

Jesus says: “If somebody loves me, he/she will certainly care my words.”

Bahaullah says:” Everybody who knows me, he/she will serve me.”

      The adapted formalities of Bahaism:

Most of the formalities in Bahaism have been adapted from the Muslims’ ones. It is stated in the book Aghdas: Ablution is necessary as a religious tradition after which the Baha’is sit in front of Kiblah and repeat the word “Allah Abha” ۹۵ times.

For fasting, the Baha’is have considered the last 19-day month of Shahrul A’ala. The duration of the Baha’is fasting is a 19-day month starting between 2-20th of March ended in the Iranian Nowruz. Fasting is necessary since 15 years of age. Bab changed the maximum age for fasting to 42 years of age.[3] [5]

Baha’is have also imitated Islam in praying. In Bahaism, at least 3-time prayer must be recited during a day, but if a person wants to pray during the night, it won’t be necessary for him/her to get out of bed and perform during ablution.[4] [6] If a person couldn’t a find water to perform ablution, he/she must say in the name of God for five times. (The book Aghdas).

Each prayer possesses three units of prayer. The times of prayer are morning, after noon and night. The group prayer and the prayer for the deed were omitted by Bahaullah, but Abdul Baha said it is allowable for the American to perform them.[5] [7]

The Baha’is pray addressing Bahaullah. The words Good, Lord and the greatest name mean Bahaullah.

Abdul Baha says: “Bahaullah is the prologue and the origin of divinity. He is the final aim and worshiped of all human beings…”[۶] [8]
