The relationship between the Baha’is and the American government and the kind of Baha’is looks to this country have been really good since many years. Mutually, the United States government has supported the Baha’is, too when it was needed.
These mutual relationships with the American government started when Abdul Baha traveled to America during the years 1289-1291 S.H. (1911-1913 A.D.) when he wanted to open Chicago dawning place of the Mention of God as proselytizing trip.
Abdul Baha [1] made various speeches in America advocating and sanctifying it:
“The America piece is a place for illuminating lights in the presence of right…!”[۱] [2]
He made another speech:
“No country is better than Iran for the American nation’s benefit and commerce. Because Iran’s wealth is hidden under the ground. I hope the American nation causes for the wealth to be discovered.”[2] [3]
The Baha’is paved the ways for Morgan Shuster (1877-1960 A.D.), the American counselor and oil companies to enter into Iran and welcomed him warmly.[3] [4]
After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Revolution court announced cancellation and prohibition of the Baha’is activities. Ronald Reagan (1911-2002 A.D.), the then president of America openly supported the arrested Baha’is and condemned the Islamic Revolution courts due to issuing group execution and imprisonment verdict for the Bahaism cult’s heads on charge of espionage.
In a scathing speech, Imam Khomeini [5] (P.H.) cited America’s supported for the Baha’is as evidence of their political dependence on American Imperialism: “If we had no other evidence that they are the spies of America – save for supporting them by Reagan – or that Tudeh party are spies, save for supporting them by the Soviet
Union, that alone would have sufficed to prove our claim.
“The Baha’is aren’t a religion. They are a party; a party which was backed by England previously and now America is supporting them. These are spies like them…”[۴] [6]
From that time on, America was. this cult’s official and overt shelter and arena. Every now and then, it has been reported about the bond and cooperation between this cult and the American government against the system of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in interior and exterior newspapers.
– At present, America is the main center for Bahaism and their activities in the world. Of course, the universal house of justice is the main core of the organization in the occupied Palestine (the usurp Israel) which is symbolic.
– The properties of Bahaism in America are maybe more than all properties of the organization across the world. From residential houses to investments….
– The freedom of action existing in America is unique in the world. The Baha’is are freely proselytizing in America while in the occupied Palestine (the usurp Israel) proselytizing for Bahaism is even forbidden.
– Supported by America and the western countries, Bahaism possesses the observer member in human rights council of the United Nations.
– Bahaism paves ways for the advertisements of anti-human rights of America and the western countries against Iran.
