{"id":10852,"date":"2023-03-16T11:48:47","date_gmt":"2023-03-16T08:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=10852"},"modified":"2023-03-16T11:48:47","modified_gmt":"2023-03-16T08:18:47","slug":"five-year-imprisonment-due-to-being-a-bahai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=10852&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Five-year imprisonment due to being a Baha\u2019i!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The Baha\u2019ism organization is always introducing the reason for its followers\u2019 detention as believing in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bah%C3%A1%CA%BC%C3%AD_Faith\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baha\u2019ism<\/a> while there is no law concerning the conviction of the Baha\u2019is in the country.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Baha\u2019ism organization has announced that Sepehr Ziyaee has been condemned to be imprisoned for five years: \u201cAccording to the verdict of the branch 26 of the Tehran revolution court headed by the Judje Iman Afshari, Sepehr Ziyaee who is residing in Tehran city was condemned to be imprisoned for five years due to obeying the Baha\u2019i faith according to the article No. 499 of the Islamic punishment law<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">However, the Baha\u2019ism organization introduced believing in Baha\u2019ism as Sepehr Ziyaee\u2019s crime that:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>If it is so, some thousand Baha\u2019is must be imprisoned while according to the statistics announced by the Baha\u2019ism organization, merely nearly ninety Baha\u2019is have been imprisoned so far.<\/li>\n<li>The excellency Ziyaee has been the member of illegal organization of Baha\u2019ism who is making net in Iran<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>. The measure which is against the law even confessed by the Baha\u2019i leaders: \u201cThe commandments sent by the Excellency <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=4127&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bahaullah<\/a> in the book Aqdas are necessary to be done by all divine disciples in the east and the west of the world if its execution are possible and aren\u2019t directly contrary to the civil laws of the country<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>As pointed by the message of the Baha\u2019ism organization, the conviction of the Excellency Ziyaee is based on article 499 of the Islamic punishment law.
