Baha\u2019is believe that the grave of `Ali Muhammad Shirazi<\/a>, known as The B\u00e1b, is located in the city of Haifa in Israel near the Carmel mount area; they call this place as the shrine of B\u00e1b.<\/p>\n

However when we carefully consider the evidence of B\u00e1bis or Azalis, we realize that this belief is baseless.<\/p>\n

  1. Believers of the Bay\u00e1n Book (Bay\u00e1nis) believe that Siyyid `Ali Muhammad B\u00e1b\u2019s and Muhammad `Ali Zonouzi\u2019s bodies were buried in Tehran\u2019s Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh Ma\u2019sum and know his (B\u00e1b) place of pilgrimage places.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Prof. Edward Browne in his book \u2018A Year Amongst the Persians\u2019\u00a0writes:<\/p>\n

    They were saved by the devotion of Suleym\u00e1n Kh\u00e1n and a few other believers, who, whether by force, bribes, or the influence of powerful friends, succeeded in obtaining possession of them. They were wrapped in white silk, placed in one coffin, and sent to Teher\u00e1n, where, by order of Mirz\u00e1 Yahy\u00e1 Subh-i-Azal (\u201cthe Morning of Eternity,\u201d who, though but twenty years of age, had been chosen to succeed the B\u00e1b), they were deposited in a little shrine called Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh-i-Ma\u2019sum, which stands by the Hamad\u00e1n road not far from Rib\u00e1t-Karim.\u201d[\u06f1]<\/a><\/p>\n

    1. The scribe of B\u00e1b was Seyyed Hossein Katib, addressing a letter to his friend Haji Suleym\u00e1n Kh\u00e1n while he was sending the corpse of B\u00e1b from Tabriz to Tehran[2]<\/a>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I beg that affection of genealogy which, as long as you are in the land of Bah\u00e1[\u06f3]<\/a>), whenever was destined visiting of your lord[4]<\/a>\u00a0please mention this devotee prayer[5]<\/a>\u00a0who are distance and any time revealed you the verses of sky[6]<\/a>\u00a0of Azal, please inform me enclosing in your book (secretly). I have sent the throne[7]<\/a>\u00a0of God the greatest[8]<\/a>\u00a0by the name of God\u00a0the present the patient\u201d[\u06f9]<\/a><\/p>\n

      Letter of Seyyed Hossein Katib to Haji Suleym\u00e1n Kh\u00e1n<\/p>\n

      Comment of the letter<\/span><\/h2>\n

      This tablet is a B\u00e1bi evidence which was written by scribe Seyyed Hossein in the year 1268 AD, when the body of B\u00e1b was being sent from Tabriz to Haji Suleym\u00e1n Kh\u00e1n. It is very important and historic and is mainly written in Persian.<\/p>\n

      Therefore, it should be said that Subh-i-Azal has resided in Tehran while this letter was written. And the scribe writes \u201cI have sent the throne of God the greatest (B\u00e1b\u2019s body) by carrier to Tehran<\/em>\u201d which shows that B\u00e1b\u2019s body was moved to Tehran and his corpse did not become the prey of animals.<\/p>\n

      1. The official site of Bay\u00e1n has announced the current B\u00e1b\u2019s grave:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The Throne of the first point[10]<\/a>\u00a0in his will by command of Subh-i-Azal was buried in Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh Ma\u2019sum in Tehran. Muslim historians do not believe that and Bah\u00e1\u2019i\u00a0historians are unanimous that the throne of first point\u00a0has been stolen from this place to `Akk\u00e1, but the followers of Bay\u00e1n believe in the aforementioned place (Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh Ma\u2019sum).[11]<\/a> <\/em><\/p>\n

        Both B\u00e1bis and Azalis have mentioned the delivery of B\u00e1b\u2019s body to Subh-i-Azal in their writings. They also mentioned that Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h\u00a0was not aware of burial place of B\u00e1b; although Bah\u00e1\u2019is\u00a0in Amri Educational pamphlet No. 14 page 4 claim that B\u00e1b\u2019s body was depositioned to Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h and he buried him in Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh Ma\u2019sum. They believe that, according to `Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u00e1<\/a>\u2019s order, it was taken to `Akk\u00e1 in the year 1316 A.D and buried in Haifa after 50 years.<\/p>\n

        The question here is that why his funeral was held after 50 years in Israel?<\/p>\n

        It seems that B\u00e1bis or Azalis documents are stronger than Bah\u00e1\u2019is:<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Because of B\u00e1b will in which Subh-i-Azal was mentioned as B\u00e1b\u2019s successor and B\u00e1b should be buried upon his order;<\/li>\n
        2. The scribe of B\u00e1b did not mention Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h<\/a> in his letter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          B\u00e1bis know the old place in Im\u00e1m-z\u00e1deh Ma\u2019sum as the shrine of B\u00e1b and because of its holiness, some of the great B\u00e1bis and Baha\u2019is\u00a0were buried there, such as \u2018Izziyya Khanum (B\u00e1bi sister of Subh-i-Azal and Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h), and among great Bah\u00e1\u2019is\u00a0like Mulla Ali Akbar Shahmirzadi, Mirza Naeem Sedehi.<\/p>\n

          Therefore this place is holy for B\u00e1bis.[12]<\/a><\/p>\n
