But what happened to Baha\u2019ism?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>A recent report confirms what we can see happening around the globe is that Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, according to a new Pew Research Center study. Islam grew by 347 million in just 10 years. That is not insignificant. It is a huge indication that Allah\u2019s promise in <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/quran.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Holy Quran<\/a><\/span> is being fulfilled:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>\u201c<em>It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all other religions\u2026<\/em>\u201d \u2013 Holy Qur\u2019an, Surah At-Tawbah (9:33)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>So, while Islam is rapidly growing around the world, it is time to ask:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><em>Where is the Baha\u2019i Faith? Weren\u2019t they the ones saying they would replace Islam?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Big promises\u2026 But NO growth!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>The Baha\u2019i faith originated in the 1800s and proclaimed a new message from God, post-Islam. They referred to their leader, Baha\u2019u\u2019llah, as the next Messenger of God, being a believer that Islam was over.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Although there are a few Baha\u2019is globally. The Baha\u2019is argue that India has the largest population of Baha\u2019i adherents in the world, which they estimate at over 1.8 million, representing around 40% of the entire world\u2019s Baha\u2019i population. However, in looking at the official government census, it says there are only 4572 Baha\u2019is, and many of them are not even active believers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>All countries (yes, the focus is on ALL) account for people who have been added to the Baha\u2019i membership lists \u2013 without their awareness and belief. Which increases their population size.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Final Prophet \u2013 No One After Muhammad \ufdfa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>The single greatest problem with the Baha\u2019i faith is this: They reject the finality of Prophethood.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>They believe that new messengers are possible after the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa.\u00a0 But the Qur\u2019an is abundantly clear:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>\u201c<em>Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the Prophets.<\/em>\u201d \u2014 Holy Qur\u2019an, Surah Al-Ahzab (33:40)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>This indicates that the chain of Prophethood ended with him. No Prophet can come after him \u2013 neither the Bab, nor Baha\u2019u\u2019llah, nor anyone. Any faith that teaches otherwise is not from Allah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Islam Builds Mosques, Baha\u2019is Build Empty Temples<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>When I think about the early Baha\u2019i temples, I cannot help but notice that they are all in places that are now mostly devoid of Baha\u2019is. Indeed, the Baha\u2019is have been in places like India, Chile, Zambia, Cambodia, etc., building temples and dreaming about a religion of world-wide significance.\u00a0 They can only \u201c<em>hope\u201d<\/em>\u00a0that someday, these temples become populated by believers worshipping God.\u00a0 For now, they are simply empty buildings visited as tourist attractions; there is no call to prayer, no daily worship, and no connection.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Islam builds thousands of mosques every year and daily believers fill them five times a day in prayer, the reading of Qur\u2019an, and the remembering of Allah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Baha\u2019i faith substitutes Revelation with Workbooks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>In lieu of reading scriptures or praying together, most Baha\u2019i communities engage with the \u201cRuhi Institute\u201d, a series of workbooks to guide their engagement.\u00a0 \u00a0These are not sacred books. They are man-made documents to track how many \u201cstudy circles\u201d or classes there are. Engagement feels more like a corporate training course than engagement in a spiritual path.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>As Muslims, thankfully we\u2019re not in need of man-made manuals. We have the Holy Qur\u2019an, the Hadith and the rich tradition of Islam that guides our hearts and our lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>No answers, just silence: Why many are leaving the <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?s=Baha%E2%80%99i&amp;lang=en\">Baha\u2019i<\/a> <\/span>Faith!?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>With a greater number of people leaving the Baha\u2019i faith around the world, ex-Baha\u2019is share stories of their frustration, confusion, and emptiness in social media spaces and forums.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>They express their feelings of frustration from members of a religious community that is more of a bureaucracy than a faith. Others write that they were silenced for asking basic questions, or even excommunicated altogether.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>One former believer recalled: \u201cWe were promised a revolution of the spirit, not a stack of paperwork.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>At the same time Islam Is Alive and Growing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Islam is not only growing in numbers \u2013 it is growing in strength. Young people are most active in the deen. More people are converting and coming to Islam, especially in the West. Mosques are full, Qur\u2019an classes are running strong, and the Ummah is waking.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>This is exactly what Allah told us would happen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>\u201c<em>We throw the truth against falsehood, and it destroys it, and falsehood disappears.<\/em>\u201d \u2013 Holy Qur\u2019an, Surah Al-Anbiya (21:18)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Truth always defeats falsehood. And the truth is that Islam is the only final and complete deen sent by Allah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Final Words for the Baha\u2019is<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>The Baha\u2019i Faith might have claimed it would replace Islam, but I\u2019m afraid it\u2019s the other way around. Islam is on the rise and Baha\u2019ism is on the decline or let me say, about to become extinct looking at the number of the Baha\u2019is turning away from their religion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Dear Baha\u2019is \u2013 if your religion was truly from God, wouldn\u2019t it be growing like Islam is today? Islam remains strong because it is the truth.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Islam guides heart, unites nations, and gives us direct access to our Creator.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>Islam really doesn\u2019t need \u201cmarketing\u201d.
