The Baha\u2019i commandment- part 28<\/span><\/h2>\n

Fasting is one of the commandments existing in the divine religions. The Almighty God has stated in the holy Quran:<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you\u2026\u201d [Al-Baqareh\/183]<\/p>\n

In order to pretend its faith to be divine the deviant cult of Baha\u2019ism has considered fasting as one of its duties:<\/p>\n

According to the Baha\u2019i belief, each year is consisting of 19 months and each month includes 19 days[2]<\/a>. They avoid eating and drinking in the last month of the year known as Al-A\u2019ala since dawn to dusk.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless; in the deviant cult of Baha\u2019ism,<\/a> fasting has special characteristics:<\/p>\n

\u06f1- Fasting is 19 days in Baha\u2019ism[3]<\/a><\/p>\n

\u06f2- Bahaullah<\/a> has appointed Nowrous (the new year) as the Baha\u2019is Fetr Feast.[4]<\/a><\/p>\n

\u06f3- Climate is considered because it is near the new year.<\/p>\n

\u06f4- Fasting starts at dawn and ends at dusk:<\/p>\n
