We will not delve into this matter. We will only present two sources that clearly show an alternative source for many of his political views and superhuman knowledge:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Today I was reading the events in Italy and Turkey. Another war has started and the blood of wretched people is spilled for the lowliest causes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: `Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101, Kha\u1e6d\u0101b\u0101t (Egypt), vol. 1, p. 87.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">I read in the newspaper that even in Italy people are protesting and shouting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: `Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101, Kha\u1e6d\u0101b\u0101t (Egypt), vol. 1, p. 205.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">As it has been made obvious, the source of the knowledge of these figures is rooted in many places:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f1- Education they received from school and their teachers (publicly and privately).<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f2- What they were taught by family members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f3- Socializing with scholars, philosophers, and mystics and Sufis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f4- Reading the Quran, Islamic books, philosophical works, history books, newspapers etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f5- Reading books of literature and poetry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">See <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=4127&amp;lang=en\">Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h<\/a>, Tablets of Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h Revealed After the Kit\u0101b-i-Aqdas, p. 144 (footnote).<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">There are many stories in the Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed community about the supernatural access to information that Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h, \u2018Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u00e1, and Shoghi Effendi had. My point here is not to dispute these stories; merely to say these superhuman mechanisms do not seem to have been working at every instant. If they had, <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=4127&amp;lang=en\">Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h<\/a> would not have read newspapers, as He suggests He may have done; \u2018Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101 and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shoghi_Effendi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shoghi Effendi<\/a> would not have constantly written the friends asking for news; they would not have pumped visiting pilgrims for their knowledge and evaluation of places, peoples, cultures, and individuals; and Shoghi Effendi would not have had to do massive, monumental research in order to edit The Dawn-breakers or write God Passes By.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Robert Stockman, Revelation, Interpretation, and Elucidation in the Baha\u2019i Writings in Scripture and Revelation, ed. Moojan Momen (Oxford: George Ronald, 1997):\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bahai-library.com\/stockman_revelation_interpretation_elucidation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/bahai-library.com\/stockman_revelation_interpretation_elucidation<\/a>\u00a0(retrieved 2\/12\/2014).<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">He makes another point which further confirms that the knowledge possessed by these figures was not divine:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Further, when one examines the historical and cultural information contained in Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h\u2019s writings one notes that the knowledge to which He customarily refers is information that would have been available to Him via ordinary nineteenth-century means. Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h never reveals a commentary on Confucian ethics or Buddhist cosmology, neither of which would have been readily available in nineteenth-century Persian or Arabic. He does not discuss Olmec hymns or Indo-European myths, none of which are available to even twentieth-century scholars, but which must have existed and which must have contained profound statements worthy of discussion, commentary, and praise by a Manifestation of God. Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h revealed in pure Persian \u2014 much to the astonishment of the Zoroastrians \u2014 but never revealed in ancient Avestan, Iran\u2019s ancestral tongue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Robert Stockman, Revelation, Interpretation, and Elucidation in the Baha\u2019i Writings in Scripture and Revelation, ed. Amazingly, they didn\u2019t even bother to double check these sciences with the divine tablets that they claimed they had and as we showed, they committed multiple mistakes in their scientific claims and citations of Holy scripture.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prohibition_of_Kissing_Hands\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prohibition of Kissing Hands<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7176 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Kissing-Hands.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"205\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Kissing-Hands.jpg 722w, https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Kissing-Hands-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Kissing-Hands-253x143.jpg 253w, https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Kissing-Hands-640x360.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h writes in the Aqdas:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The kissing of hands hath been forbidden in the Book. This practice is prohibited by God, the Lord of glory and command.\u00a0 \u2013 Kitab E Aqdas Saying number 34 (<a href=\"http:\/\/reference.bahai.org\/en\/t\/b\/KA\/ka-4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/reference.bahai.org\/en\/t\/b\/KA\/ka-4.html<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">This law has been completely ignored by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h and `Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101 and they freely allowed anyone who wanted to kiss their hands. Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u201cThe inhabitants of the quarter in which Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h had been living, and the neighbors who had gathered to bid Him farewell, came one after the other,\u201d writes an eye-witness, \u201cwith the utmost sadness and regret to kiss His hands and the hem of His robe, expressing meanwhile their sorrow at His departure . . .\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Shoghi Effendi, God Passes By, p. 181.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Until it was time to leave and he kissed (`Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101\u2019s) blessed hand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Ma\u1e25m\u016bd Zaraq\u0101n\u012b, Bad\u0101\u2019i` al-\u0101th\u0101r, vol. 2, p. 31.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">With great sincerity one would kiss (`Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101\u2019s) blessed hand and another would hold his skirt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Ma\u1e25m\u016bd Zaraq\u0101n\u012b, Bad\u0101\u2019i` al-\u0101th\u0101r, vol. 2, p. 340.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The hand kissing in America attracted so much attention that the title of an article in the newspaper, The Baltimore Sun, November 12 1912 was \u201cWomen kiss his hand\u201d. This is how it was described:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">With condescension, he greeted his followers as they were presented by the interpreter, Dr. Ameer U. Farewed, a Persian and a graduate in medicine of Johns Hopkins University. \u201cOh, I am so glad to see you,\u201d was uttered in tones of reverence by the women as they bowed before him and kissed his wrinkled hand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/centenary.bahai.us\/news\/women-kiss-his-hand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/centenary.bahai.us\/news\/women-kiss-his-hand<\/a>\u00a0(retrieved 20\/1\/2014)<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\n<h3 style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_to_Bury_the_Dead\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Where to Bury the Dead<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7177\" src=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Dead.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The Baha\u2019i law for Burial states:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">It is forbidden you to transport the body of the deceased a greater distance than one hour\u2019s journey from the city . . . The spirit of Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h\u2019s law is for the deceased to be buried near where he or she dies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h, The Kit\u0101bi Aqdas, p. 230.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">This is how the Burial was performed for the <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=2160&amp;lang=en\">B\u0101b<\/a> on the orders of Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h and `Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">As observed in a previous chapter the mangled bodies of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaismiran.com\/?p=2160&amp;lang=en\">B\u0101b<\/a> and His fellow-martyr, M\u012brz\u0101 Mu\u1e25ammad-`Al\u012b, were removed, in the middle of the second night following their execution, through the pious intervention of \u1e24\u0101j\u012b Sulaym\u0101n Kh\u0101n, from the edge of the moat where they had been cast to a silk factory owned by one of the believers of Mil\u0101n, and were laid the next day in a wooden casket, and thence carried to a place of safety. Subsequently, according to Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h\u2019s instructions, they were transported to \u1e6cihr\u0101n and placed in the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih \u1e24asan. They were later removed to the residence of \u1e24\u0101j\u012b Sulaym\u0101n Kh\u0101n himself in the Sar-Chashmih quarter of the city, and from his house were taken to the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih Ma`\u1e63\u016bm, where they remained concealed until the year 274 1284 A.H. (1867\u2013\u06f1\u06f8\u06f6\u06f8), when a Tablet, revealed by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h in Adrianople, directed Mull\u0101 `Al\u012b-Akbar-i-Sh\u0101hm\u012brz\u0101d\u012b and Jam\u0101l-i-Bur\u016bjird\u012b to transfer them without delay to some other spot . . . \u1e24\u0101j\u012b Sh\u0101h Mu\u1e25ammad buried the casket beneath the floor of the inner sanctuary of the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih Zayd, where it lay undetected until M\u012brz\u0101 Asadu\u2019ll\u0101h-i-I\u1e63fah\u0101n\u012b was informed of its exact location through a chart forwarded to him by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h. Instructed by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h to conceal it elsewhere, he first removed the remains to his own house in \u1e6cihr\u0101n, after which they were deposited in several other localities such as the house of \u1e24usayn-\u2018Al\u012by-i-I\u1e63fah\u0101n\u012b and that of Mu\u1e25ammad-Kar\u012bm-i-\u2018A\u1e6d\u1e6d\u0101r, where they remained hidden until the year 1316 (1899) A.H., when, in pursuance of directions issued by \u2018Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101, this same M\u012brz\u0101 Asadu\u2019ll\u0101h, together with a number of other believers, transported them by way of I\u1e63fah\u0101n, Kirmansh\u0101h, Baghd\u0101d and Damascus, to Beirut and thence by sea to \u2018Akk\u0101, arriving at their destination on the 19th of the month of Ramad\u0101n 1316 A.H.
