Likewise, the whole translation probably needs revising (15 February 1947).\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Article titled Socrates compiled by the Research Department of the Universal House of Justice:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bahai-library.com\/compilation_socrates_bwc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/bahai-library.com\/compilation_socrates_bwc<\/a>\u00a0(retrieved<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u06f1\u06f7\/\u06f2\/\u06f2\u06f0\u06f1\u06f4).<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The tablet was revealed by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h in Arabic!<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Is Shoghi Infallible?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Shoghi: I am only infallible in matters regarding the faith and interpreting it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u201cThe infallibility of the Guardian is confined to matters which are related strictly to the Cause and interpretations of the Teachings; he is not an infallible authority on other subjects, such as economics, science, etc,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Reference: Shoghi Effendi, Directives from the Guardian, p. 33\u2013\u06f3\u06f4\u066b<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Shoghi makes errors when speaking about Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h\u2019s Tablet of Wisdom and claims it was revealed in Persian while it was revealed in Arabic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Refer to Was the Tablet of Wisdom Revealed in Persian?<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Can Shoghi Fit the Role of Being the Authorized Interpreter of Baha\u2019i Texts?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">`Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101: Shoghi is the authoritative interpreter of the words of God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">\u201cO my loving friends! After the passing away of this wronged one, it is incumbent upon the Aghs\u0101n (Branches), the Afn\u0101n (Twigs) of the Sacred Lote-Tree, the Hands (pillars) of the Cause of God and the loved ones of the Abh\u0101 Beauty to turn unto Shoghi Effendi\u2014the youthful branch branched from the two hallowed and sacred Lote-Trees and the fruit grown from the union of the two offshoots of the Tree of Holiness,\u2014as he is the sign of God, the chosen branch, the Guardian of the Cause of God, he unto whom all the Aghs\u0101n, the Afn\u0101n, the Hands of the Cause of God and His loved ones must turn. Although We never felt disposed to peruse other peoples\u2019 writings, yet as some had questioned Us concerning him, We felt it necessary to refer to his books, in order that We might answer Our questioners with knowledge and understanding. His works, in the Arabic tongue, were, however, not available, . . . We sent for the book, and kept it with Us a few days. Subsequently, according to Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h\u2019s instructions, they were transported to \u1e6cihr\u0101n and placed in the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih \u1e24asan. They were later removed to the residence of \u1e24\u0101j\u012b Sulaym\u0101n Kh\u0101n himself in the Sar-Chashmih quarter of the city, and from his house were taken to the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih Ma`\u1e63\u016bm, where they remained concealed until the year 274 1284 A.H. (1867\u2013\u06f1\u06f8\u06f6\u06f8), when a Tablet, revealed by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h in Adrianople, directed Mull\u0101 `Al\u012b-Akbar-i-Sh\u0101hm\u012brz\u0101d\u012b and Jam\u0101l-i-Bur\u016bjird\u012b to transfer them without delay to some other spot . . . \u1e24\u0101j\u012b Sh\u0101h Mu\u1e25ammad buried the casket beneath the floor of the inner sanctuary of the shrine of Im\u0101m-Z\u0101dih Zayd, where it lay undetected until M\u012brz\u0101 Asadu\u2019ll\u0101h-i-I\u1e63fah\u0101n\u012b was informed of its exact location through a chart forwarded to him by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h. Instructed by Bah\u0101\u2019u\u2019ll\u0101h to conceal it elsewhere, he first removed the remains to his own house in \u1e6cihr\u0101n, after which they were deposited in several other localities such as the house of \u1e24usayn-\u2018Al\u012by-i-I\u1e63fah\u0101n\u012b and that of Mu\u1e25ammad-Kar\u012bm-i-\u2018A\u1e6d\u1e6d\u0101r, where they remained hidden until the year 1316 (1899) A.H., when, in pursuance of directions issued by \u2018Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u0101, this same M\u012brz\u0101 Asadu\u2019ll\u0101h, together with a number of other believers, transported them by way of I\u1e63fah\u0101n, Kirmansh\u0101h, Baghd\u0101d and Damascus, to Beirut and thence by sea to \u2018Akk\u0101, arriving at their destination on the 19th of the month of Ramad\u0101n 1316 A.H.
