Referring to various subject matters of the book Aqdas, it will be revealed that the spirit dominating the book is the very patriarchal look which is common in the east and negating the equality between men and women. The slogan of the equality between men and women is in fact one of the products of the relationship between Abdul Baha and the west and out of the world of Islam. His trips to America and the west have been done during the years 1911 to 1913 A.D. when is near to the end of the first wave of feminism in the west. Introducing Baha’ism to the western community, Abdul Baha exploited the element posed in the west culture in order to perk Baha’ism in according with the variations of his era. Anyway, Baha’ism is insisting on this principle as new!!!
