Field Marshal Zargham is one of the bigoted Baha’is in the Pahlavi army. He was appointed as the minister of customs during the time when Dr. Manouchehr Iqbal was the prime minister and after a while he became the minister of finance.
Field Marshal Zargham was appointed as the head of grain and bread department of Tehran city when he was young because he was a Baha’i. Then, he became the head of the country tea. He was also the head of tobacco department, bread and grain department, guild Bank and the head of the Bank of Toddlers. Field Marshal Zargham was then appointed as the head of army cooperative (ETKA) by Field Marshal Ayadi and Shah issued his head verdict.
Ordered by Ayadi, he was buying hiss massive items from the Baha’i and Jewish merchants. During those years, all textile factories of the country were bankrupt and the council of money and credit of the central bank had obliged the governmental companies to buy their needed cloths from the interior factories, but Zargham and Ayadi didn’t pay attention to this enactment.
During this year, a factory called Fakhr Iran textile which had been bankrupt completely was bought by Zargham ordered by Ayadi. During this year. Sugar companies had encountered the financial problems, but Field Marshal Ayadi, and Zargham from Belgium by intermediary of a Jewish person called Mehdi Redhvan who had become Baha’i.
