In one of his confessions, Shapour Bakhtiyar explained the black consequence of 25-year seditious and anti-national government of Pahlavi (with active roles of Baha’is) on Iran. However, does the Baha’ism which is today shouting the slogan of freedom and complaining about injustice in the Islamic Republic of Iran speak about palpitation and unlimited injustice brought about for Iran during Pahlavi regime?!
During the Pahlavi period of time; particularly, the second one, the Baha’is were extensively present in the country managerial pillars. One of the important features of Pahlavi regime is the influence of the Baha’is in the body and structure of the government and occupying the most sensitive economic posts and military and cultural ones.
As a matter of fact; contrary to portrayal of the Baha’ism organization, the Pahlavi government has been the season for growing and unlimited increasing power of Baha’ism in Iran. Thus, the period of time when Hoveyda was the prime minister of Iran, can be called the peak of Baha’ism authority in growth and using governmental rents to suck Muslim nation’s blood.
In spite of prime minister, commercial agriculture, education ministries, the high-ranking consultants, the high-ranking military officials and etc. were captured by Baha’ism. The Baha’is like Hoveyda, Manouchehr Taslimi, Mansour Rowhani, Abdul Karim Ayadi, Habibullah Sabet, Parviz Sabeti, Asadullah Saniee, Parviz Khosrawani were of the prominent Baha’i people who obeyed the orders issued by the universal house of justice in Iran.[1]
Trusting the Baha’is and their positions in Pahlavi regime were to such an extent that we read in Hossein Fardoust’s memoirs: “… Muhammad Reza was completely of the Baha’ism organization, particularly; the presence of Baha’i people in sensitive and important posts and showed favorable opinion to them…[۲]”. Also, the dominance and influence of Baha’ism over Iran in the system of Pahlavi government was too much that the Baha’i periodical posed confidently the wish for creating the Baha’i kingdom in Iran to have complete dominance over the Iranian government.[3]
However, what was the consequences of the dominance of Baha’ism organization over the economic and cultural pillars of the country?!
Shapour Bakhtiyar, the prime minister of Pahlavi regime has explained about the black consequence of 25-year seditious and anti-national government of Pahlavi (with the active roles of the Baha’is) in one of his confessions: “The country is afflicted by a great and extensive agitation; the country treasury has been evacuated. Strikes and oppositions have been exploded. Our community has been hopeless with reforming affairs and the improvement of conditions). Poverty, sedition, social gap is unprecedented and is expanding increasingly. The country agriculture has been destroyed and the country industry is dependent contrary to the economic principles a large amount of money has been given to other countries unnecessarily and huge investments in the country has been wasted. Our educational and cultural programs are changing annually by ignorant and unfaithful people.[4] “
