Baha’ism is a cult which has been created nearly 200 years ago and there is a lot of sensitivity towards it in the system of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The following is an interview with the clergyman Ali Reza Rouzbahani:

  • Why is Iran sensitive against Baha’ism to such an extent? Aren’t they looked to be human beings having their own beliefs?

The Baha’ism is a cult and is anti-social such as other events as drug abuses, gangs, murder, prostitution, in the society. The background of Baha’ism is clear in the Iranian history and the activities of this cult can be observed during history. Investigating the background of this cult will lead to this fact that the deviant cult of Baha’ism has had no consequence for the Iranian people but abomination.

  • Baha’ism is along with  arrogance front alongside with America and Israel

Baha’is were a group which could penetrate into political, economic and cultural regions of the country through bonding with power foundations in the previous government before the Islamic revolution. Now, Baha’ism is along with arrogance alongside with America and Israel or at least it is impartial. This causes for the Islamic republic of Iran and the cultural part of the Islamic community to be pessimistic with Baha’ism and consider a series of limitations for the Baha’is.  If the members of the deviant cult of Baha’ism have merely a belief- of course we don’t accept this belief and consider it deviant- and don’t have any destructive activities, everybody will leave them alone.

  • Nobody has been punished merely due to be Baha’i

The Baha’is are claiming for a percentage of them to be imprisoned, but all of them haven’t been imprisoned! If the population of the Baha’is confronted by the Islamic Republic of Iran is compared with the total population of the Baha’is in the country, it can be observed that the small percentage of them has due to being a Baha’i.

How did Imam Khomeini (P.H.) and the supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei behave with the Baha’is?

Basically, the dignitaries of our religion have the same of idea with the above-mentioned one. For example, Ayatollah Boroujerdi and Imam Khomeini never issued the order for killing the Baha’is like Monafeqin organization. According to me, there is no difference between Baha’ism cult and Rajavi one. However, Imam Khomeini (P.H.) and the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, believed that the Baha’is can live as long as they don’t have any destructive social activities.

Do the Baha’is who don’t have any political issues and don’t do any measure against the Islamic Republic of Iran possess any citizen rights like working in governmental offices and being present at universities?

I speak as an expert of Baha’ism cult not as person in charge of the system of the government of the Islamic of Iran. Baha’ism is moving like a ladder; that is, according to their definition, they are starting from the stage of ignorance, then the stage of oppression, then the stage of succession, then the stage of local government; that is, they have a program for themselves who have defined the stages of growth and maturity.

-The Baha’is are expecting to be active against religion and the system of government be obedient of them.

This is a quite organizational issue. It can be observed in several cases that the Baha’i person wants to select the option of religion at university from or other ones. They didn’t want to choose the choice of “others”, but they have added the choice of Baha’is and ticked it. That is, they are bigoted. They expect to be active against Islam and proselytize against the religion and expect the government to be obedient.

-Baha’ism is looking upon Iran as Zionism looks upon Palestine

-What are the Baha’ism cult’s aims and targets in Iran? Do they provide the aims for themselves or other ones?

According to the researches done in this regard- not by me but by the researchers who don’t have positive view about Islam such as Fereidoun Adamiyyat or Ismaeel Raeen who are merely researchers. Of course, I don’t want to say they are irreligious but they aren’t in the path of religion – Baha’ism is looking upon Iran as Israel is looking upon Palestine. The Baha’ism is to capture Iran as Israelis consider usurping Palestine as the start for its universal government.

-Baha’ism bond hasn’t been cut with the arrogance system of government

If you study the books of the Baha’i period of time and the Baha’i discipline that have been written by their guardian of the faith Shoqi Effendi, you will figure out that their aims are clearly to capture the world. Since Karim Ahmad Shirazi was living in Boushehr, they have been in touch with the British consul till now. Their relationships have never been cut.

Their programs aren’t for their inner community.

-Regarding the proselytizing activities of this cult in Iran, can it be said that this cult is expanding? Where is the center of their proselytizing activities?

Expanding Baha’ism cult is different from its quantity. Baha’ism gains some force but it will lose some too. According to one of the researchers, if they were naturally growing, their population would be more than those now. Baha’ism is to increase its number not what we think. Baha’ism is a cult and the cult has its own special limitations. However, they make a lot of noise and proselytize a lot. Like an expensive hotel which is advertising too much but it is costly. Everybody cannot pay for it.

-Why is the Islamic Republic sensitive with them?

The Baha’i cult is trying for its expansion, but it recruits special people to use them because the cults are limited to recruit. So, they are to expand, but thanks God, they haven’t been successful. The reason for the system of government and cultural elements to be sensitive with the deviant cult of Baha’ism is that those who don’t know this cult not to be trapped.

-does Baha’ism have any plan for managers and clergymen?

The Baha’is consider people of all walks of life. From youth and teenagers to other special people. For instance, one of their assemblies is for the dignitaries such as clergymen, managers and various parts which can be influential on community. So, they aren’t limited to special part.
