At first, it was necessary for the deviant cult of Baha’ism to be support in the western media in order for it to be strengthened and ready for dictated missions
۱) The British media: These media are considered as the supporters of the deviant cult of Baha’ism along with the politicians of this Colonial country.
On Ordibehesht, 1342 S.H. before the members of the first round of the universal house of justice in Israel held a conference in London in details casted extensively in the press of that country including one of the meetings of this conference in which two Baha’i proselytizers called Hinzereth and William Seirz gave a speech. the Times narrated the most parts of their speech. Of course, Supporting Bahaism by the English press isn’t limited to press. All media even radio BBC also praise the deviant cult of Baha’ism including Mehrangiz Monset, one of the Baha’is resided in London sent her benediction message to the Baha’s participated at Mouris conference by radio BBC.
۲) The American mass media Support Baha’ism along with the American politicians and proselytize for Baha’ism using various excuses and methods such as:
- A) According to the formal periodical of the Iranian Baha’is; in a film made by one of the famous film making companies of America called ” Israel from the Sea”, some scenes from Bab’s grave and the universal center of Baha’ism have been displayed.
- B) During the Baha’i conference in Chicago city, the media of that country covered the news of that ceremony to such an extent that the news related to the conference published in nearly 400 newspapers. Additionally, the periodical of the American congress supported Baha’ism and the Baha’is who were arrested those days in Morocco and were sentenced to be hanged due to their criminal actions in an article written by Senator Keating.
- c) The important periodicals of America including Times, Los Angeles Times, Daily News and correspondences such as the Associated Press also are proselytizing for Baha’ism using each excuse. For instance, the Times, newspaper published an interview with Rouhieh Maxwell, Shoqi Effendi’s wife in No. 26 dated April 1963 A.D. in an article to introduce the
cult.[1] Also, the Daily News newspaper of Chicago published an interview with Tarazullah Saman, one of the heads of Baha’ism called “the message of the Baha’i religion, peace and justice”. This article was published in more than 4000 various newspapers across America and nearby countries such as Panama. [2]
۲) French Media:
In France, the extensive proselytizing of Baha’ism can be observable. On Mordad 1355 S.H., the international conference of the Baha’is was held in Paris. The correspondences were present in the conference and were casting the news of the conference. The television of France was displaying the film related to the conference. The French valid newspapers such as Le Monde, Su Su Express, Figaro published several materials about the conference and the Baha’i teachings.
۳) Other media: In other European countries the supports can be observed in various forms. The conference of the Baha’is in Luxembourg was held on Shahrivar 1331 S.H. and according to the Baha’i sources, it was the biggest European annual one. Every night, the news of the conference was casted in details in Luxembourg press. Also; in radio Luxembourg which is the strongest radio sender of Europe, the Baha’is spent a huge amount of money for radio interview with three Baha’i representatives.[3]
On Jan, 21, 1968 A.D. (Bahman, 1, 1346 S.H.), a gathering of the Baha’is was held in Sweden. However, it is interesting to be noted that the news of the gathering had been casted a day before holding it; that is, on Day, 30.[4]
Ahmad Reza Baharloo, the first chairman of Persian VOA. wasn’t a Baha’I, but he was eager to have a close relationship with them. This issue was obvious in employing the employees in the Persian VOA. His Co-workers were Ramesh Rasekh, Behrouz Abbasi, Akbar Nazemi among whom the first two were famous Baha’is in Radio and Television of Pahlavi periods of time in Iran.[5]
BBC body is consisted of the Baha’is. Baha’is were as heads of this network since the establishment of this medium, radio and television. The governmental radio of England was opened by the voice of Moqer Balyouzi on 1319/10/08. He has been the head of the deviant cult of Baha’ism for years. The investment of the Baha’is in establishing Persian radio BBC caused the British diplomacy system to elect Balyouzi as the manager of the radio.
Keyvan Abbasi, the Baha’i manager of Manoto Channel had said when it was going to be opened: “We will run a network to attract the youth by casting cultural and attractive programs to be effective in crisis time. The cultural programs for attracting in ordinary days and political ones for destroying in crisis and riot time.”…
