The Baha’is consider it important to proselytize and recruit; so that every year, they spend millions of dollars for it. The universal house of justice in Haifa spends millions of dollars to purchase space and time via various satellites and helping satellite televisions, proselytizing and confronting the opponents because the execution of one of the promises of the founders of this deviant cult; that is expanding the Baha’i faith across the world is depending on increasing Baha’i people. However, they could proselytize openly just during a short period of time of the second Pahlavi government.

Nevertheless; in today’s world, the new mass media have provided new and extensive opportunities, the Baha’s have tried like the social-political groups to exploit new techniques to achieve their aims. In this regard, television has possessed a special position due to audio and video capabilities and also capabilities and also its addressees’ expansion.

The Baha’is have also provided a program called “the Baha’i religion” and broadcasted it continually via various TV. networks. The interesting note is that those political networks which are anti-Islam and are against the Islamic Revolution are supporters of casting the Baha’i TV. programs.

The Baha’ism cult considers it important to proselytize and the Baha’i TV program is following several aims:

I) presenting unreal image of the Bahaism cult and influencing on addresses and recruiting. Generally speaking, these programs are based on two parts:

  1.    part one: Explaining beliefs and commandments of the Baha’i cult.
  2.   Part two: Introducing and interviewing with one of the so-called successful figures of Bahaism in various fields. The dialogues which depend on exaggerations about the abilities and capabilities of these people and try to pretend that the Baha’i community consists of elites possessing high scientific degrees in social levels of their residents. As if, one the ways for scientific and academic achievements is turning to Bahaism cult. During several decades ago, many heads of the Baha’i cult have tried to present a developed image of the current commandments of the cult although there are a lot of documents and resources indicating this cult and its irrational commandments and rules to be forged. The deviant cult of Bahaism is trying to negate with policy and to proselytize to show that the Baha’i rules are stressing on peace, friendship, equality and the lack of racial superiority and the like.

II) The Baha’i TV. programs are trying to penetrate into general thoughts of their addressees to perk the membership in the deviant cult of Bahaism as an ordinary and even necessary issue to present an unreal image to describe the political Bahaism as a kind of divine religion to which turning is an honor.

The Baha’i network, the first TV. channel in Iran:

The founder of the entrance of TV. technology into Iran has been a Baha’i merchant called Sabet Pasal (of course with the Iranian nation’s expenses). This TV. network which was active late 30s and earlier 40s in Iran was known as Sabet Pasal TV. and was ran by a Baha’i person from a Jewish descendants called Habib Sabet Pasal.

It is interesting to be noted that Sabet Pasal himself possessed the delegacy of TV. making company, RCA. in Iran. So, he sold many televisions and made a lot of profit and also followed his cult’s political aims.

Unfortunately, the Muslim people who bought those televisions maybe didn’t know the money is being spent for the expansion of the Baha’i network and anti-Islamic movements and also for supporting the Jewish government.

As an influential cultural means, television provided Baha’is a really favorable background for the Baha’is and influenced deeply but indirectly on the addressees and injected non-Islamic culture among them.
