In the midst of World War I, the British government gave the sir and knighthood medals to the head of the Bahaism organization Abbas Effendi (Abdul Baha). This acknowledgment was exactly done when the occupier force of England was faking possession of several parts of Syria and Palestine which had been dominated by the Ottoman government in order to provide facilities to establish Israel government. In the midst of World War I, when the occupier forces of England entered Haifa to beat the Ottoman government in the Middle East and each kind of resistance by Palestinian people (at that time belonged to Ottoman emperor) and encountered with the lack of food supplies and were to be failed soon.
When Abbas Effendi figured out the issue, he spoke with the British officers: “I have food supplies for your army.” He opened the doors of his storehouses where he had hidden a lot of food supplies there in advance. This issue caused the British forces to win in Palestine.
It is interesting to be noted that Abbas Effendi has interpreted the usurp dominance of the British Colonial government on Palestine land as setting justice tents up and asked God for eternality of the aggressive George V in that land.
Jamal Pasha, the ruler of the Ottoman government becomes really furious and says: “I kill or hang Abbas Effendi based on his will.”
Due to relationships with the intelligent service of England, Abbas Effendi predicts the Jewish tribe’s return to this land and this expression reveals he has been the spy of England in the Islamic lands.
Instead, the Israeli government present all kinds of freedom for the Baha’is to such an extent that they are exempted to pay taxes. All expensive construction materials imported from Italy for Ali Muhammad Bab’s tomb to be built were exempted for tax payment.
More interestingly, Mrs. Rouhieh Maxwell, the American wife of Shogi Effendi says about the relationship between Bahaism and Israel: “H prefer for the youngest religions (Bahaism) to be grown from the newest world countries! (Israel) and in fact it should be said that our future that is Bahaism and Israel are bond like loops of a chain.”
