One of the ways used by cults to control minds and to misuse people to achieve their goals is defining aim and life meaning for community of their view. According many psychologists lack of motivation is one of the problems of communities nowadays particularly for the youth. If we are aware of being purposeful and its consequences on people’s lives particularly the youth’s ones, we will figure out the importance of investing of recruiting by cults like Bahaism more than before.

The corresponding effect of aim and meaning of life:

The definition of life by each person gives meaning to his/her life. The meaning which causes the person to select an aim. Consequently, the person’s aim forms his/her identity. When we say the sectarian environment produces and preserves the sectarian identity, the exact meaning is that the cult formulates their identities by presenting a definition about life and determining aims for members in various levels.

      Presenting the path map:

If people are asked about their aims of lives, we will figure out that most of the time they have been trapped in general aims which aren’t able to help them achieve their destinations. At least, it can be said that their path is really difficult and vague. While the cult induces the path map which wants to present definite and definable aims which are easy to be reached.

      Control illusion:

Selecting suitable aim and planning for it causes us to feel that we are controlling our lives even if the aim has been defined by another one. Cos, it causes the person to feel that he/she is controlling his/her life.

      Motivating:

As mentioned before, one of the important parts of aiming is dividing the aim into smaller and easy to reach ones. In this way, the main aim which is compatible with people’s abilities have been divided and it is expected in each period of time for a part of it to be executed. It causes for barriers and difficulties existent in the aim course to be changed into motivation.

      Prioritizing:

The abilities of people are restricted and each person may automatically have various desires and spirits which if they are exposed in a free and uncontrolled atmosphere, they will create various aims. Consequently, the organizational cults don’t assign a time for non-sectarian job to use the members’ abilities in a maximum level holding nonstop sessions and prioritizing their desires.

Bahaism and assigning aim to members:

One of the methods of Bahaism for giving identity and aim is the executing Rouhi plan. Particularly in the fifth book of this plan, the youth are specially aimed more than other people of all walks of life because they are searching for aim and meaning of life. This course is concentrated on youth education in order to change them into active and organizational Baha’is. They make the youth gather once a week or some times during the week to induce them to spend more time for Baha’ism and its programs and other affairs in life are worthless and superficial.

In general, it can be said that “service” is the most important aim expected the members of the Bahaism cult to do by Bahaism organization. A service in the direction of the permanent wish of Bahaism that is dominating on all the world. One of the other strategies of Baha ism is the classes called” Golshan” and the like for the kids of the Baha’i families. These classes into of are places for changing people into proselytizers who consider expansion of Bahaism in society as the main aim of their lives. In various communities in which Bahaism is allowed to have organization and to be active freely, it holds Baha’i classes for the native people of the region and emphasizes on participating at them.

Bahaism believes that no kid becomes Baha’i by the organization. He/she selects Bahaism at 15 after searching and investigating. Then, he/she registers his/her Baha’i identity while it is quite false. Insisting kids’ family on participating at these classes which are sectarian and compulsory is against this Bahaism claim. Not only the Baha’i kids but also non-Baha’is are exposed to proselytizing and meetings of Bahaism organization. They use this trick to increase the number of Baha’is. Even in Iran where organizational activities have been announced as illegal by the law, the main center of the cult formally orders the Baha’is to continue their proselytizing educational programs of the deviant cult of Bahaism.

In addition to Rouli plan and educational meetings, reception (Ziafat) is another means for Baha’is to achieve their goals. It is a meeting held once a 19-day period of time including “spiritual” and “administrative parts. Baha’ism aims are stated directly and indirectly. Nowadays, a part of reception program is online. In spiritual part, some statements are being said about the importance of aim, meaning and destination of life and the necessity for being firm in achieving the goal and at last it will be said that the main goal of each Baha’i is proselytizing for Bahaism. The key sentence of the reception is: “Proselytizing is important because it is the most essential need of human beings and is the means to achieve knowing the source of divine manifestation and realizing the method of influential corporation.

Generally speaking, this program poses the proselytizing for Bahaism as the final goal of Baha’i life in order to recruit many people.
