Although the Baha’is have claimed for being exiled to Palestine years before the establishment of the Zionistic regime and also for the establishment of this regime not to be related to them but according to historical documents, the bond between Bahaism and Zionism has been existent years before the establishment of Zionistic regime through three following ways:

Serving Sason Jewish company when Ali Muhammad Bab was a teenager resided in Boushehr where he claimed for Babism.

The tendency of the Iranian Jewish descendants to Bahaism and trying to preach and develop it.

The presence of the Zionists in Palestine region since mid19th century nearly coincided with exiling Hussein Ali Nouri to Acre and residing the Baha’is in Palestine.

      Sason Company and Babism

Seyyed Ali Muhammad Shirazi, the founder of Babism cult which is the forerunner of Bahaism, was directed by his maternal uncle after his father’s death. They went to Shiraz city. He traded alongside with his maternal uncle in Sason company whose share belonged to a Jewish capitalist in Bagdad city who was busy trading opium in Boushehr and Bombay ports. His familiarity with Sason capitalist and Jewish family had important influence on his life and made him become familiar with important Jewish centers. After working with them for five years and traveling to Karbala and being the pupil of Seyyed Kazem Rashti, he claimed for being the gate – Bab.

According to Abdullah Shahbazi, emigrating Sasons to Boushehr city and Bombay and their bond with Persian- Indian Oligarchy is a turning point in the history of Iranian commerce.”[۱]

Dr. Haqqani also Says about the relationship between Bob and the Jewish and being influenced by them:

“Bas’s descendants are the family who in are in touch with Jewish Oligarchy. They were trading opium in Shiraz and Boushehr cities and Bab’s paternal uncle had a commercial firm in Shiraz city trading opium. Trading opium was in the hand of a net in which the Zionistic movement involved. The prominent character of this descendant is Sason. Sasons are the Jewish of Baghdad city ruled by the Ottomans. The Ottoman government observed that they are planning to overthrow the emperor. So, it dismissed them from Bagdad. They come to Boushehr, Iran. Bab is in touch with them. He himself says: “I I was in Boushehr for a while and was in touch with Israel sons’ are scholars. “Who are these Israel sons’ scholars? The very Sason family and the rest of Sason descendants who are of the influential Zionistic families like Rothschild.”[۲]

The Jewish descendants and tendency towards Bahaism: Due to economic activities and having relationships with aliens, the Jewish people had a special position in the 19th century Iran. Their role in transformations of the contemporary Iran was prominent because of these properties. Many researchers believe that the primary expansion of Babism and Bahaism in Iran has been due to the tendency of the Jewish descendants towards this cult; otherwise, the expansion of it in Shia community was not easy at that time. Abdullah Shahbazi writes:

There are many examples of turning Jewish to this cult in investigation of the history of Babism in Iran who turned to primary preachers of Babism and influential elements in its expansion.”[۳]

      Ismaeel Rasen also writes:

“Most Baha’is of Iran are Jewish and the Zoroastrians and the Muslims who have turned to this cult are less. Now, few Muslims turn to them!”[۴]

      He also writes:

“Since their emergence till now, the Baha’is have used the Jewish repeatedly and make them Baha’is. We know that the Jewish nature is ingrained with money and increasing capital. The Jewish of Muslim countries are mostly the enemies of Muslims. Everywhere, they are disturbing and feuding against Muslims! They have turned to Bahaism sooner than Muslims and profited more. They send some of their profits to the universal house of justice.”[۵]

Fadhlullah Mohtadi, known as Sobhi, the ex-Baha’i proselytizer writes about the Jewish who turned to Bahaism:

“To me, most of them have become the Baha’i to escape Judaism in order not to have Jewish title in addition to be free to do debauchery. I know such Jewish people in Hamadan and Tehran cities and I am aware of their deeds.”[۶]

Khan Malek Sasani considers turning Jewish to Bahaism as the plan of British intelligent service and writes:

“The intelligent service was advising the Jewish who were few to become Baha’is to get married with and have social intercourse with the Iranian people. the Jewish entered into the cult to be supported by the British.”[۷]

Some famous Jewish families who superficially turned to Bahaism are as follows:

The families of Hakim, Mithaghieh, Berjis, Towfigh, Younesiyan, Hajji Laleh Zar (Al- Azar), Azadeh, Ettehadieh, Akhavan Safa, Arjmand, Broumand, Jawid, Hafezi, Haghighi, Shayan, Samimi, Azizi, Ahdiyeh, Firouz, Laleh Zari, Moa’yyed, Maher, Novin, Mottahedin, Majzoub, Ma’nawi, Malakouti, Mithaghiyan, Nosrat, Wahdat, Yosof Zadeh, and etc.

     I) The presence of the Zionists and the Baha’i leaders in Palestine:

The Baha’is are claiming for entering Baha’i leaders into Palestine years before the establishment of the Zionistic regime and also for the relationship between them and forming the regime is not compatible with the historical documents. There is evidence for the presence of the Zionists in Palestine aiming the establishment of the independent government of Judaism which had become serious late 19th century and the Baha’is have helped them achieving this goal.

      Mr. Abdullah Shahbazi writes:

“Since 1868 A.D. when Mirza Hussein Ali Nouri (Baha) and his companions were transferred to Acre port, the bond between the authorized western Jewish centers continued and the center of Bahaism in Palestine land changed into an important means for their complicated operation and their partners.”[۸]

II) supporting the establishment of Zionistic regime by the Baha’is:

The Zionistic regime was formally recognized by the United Nations in 1948 A.D. (1327 S.H.) and immediately the United States and other western countries recognized it formally, too. Pahlavi regime was being recognized as western block countries and recognized this regime formally in 1328 S.H.

The leader of the Baha’is at that period of time was Shogi Effendi, Abbas Effendi’s grandson.

Mrs. Rouhieh Maxwell, Shoghi Effendi’s American wife has expressed concerning relationship between Israel and Bahaism:

“I prefer the youngest religions (Bahaism) to be grown in the youngest country in the world (Israel); that is, it can be said that our future (Bahaism and Israel) is bond like the loops of a chain.”[۹]

The Zionistic regime recognized Bahaism formally in another measure and included it as of its formal religions.

The remarkable note is that in the coup Mordad 28th, 1332 S.H., the influence of the Baha’is and Zionists in the political, economic and cultural structure of Iran becomes firmer than before and the pillars of Pahlavi regime become stronger.

III) The heavy silence of Bahaism concerning the massacre of Gaza people:

It is more than a year since the war between the Zionistic regime and people of Gaza has started in Palestine. Nearly all countries of the world (except for the American government) has asked for ceasefire and the end for wild massacre of Palestinian women and kids in Gaza, but the Colonial organization of Bahaism hasn’t reacted to it at all!!!
