The foundation of the universal house of justice has rejected the existence of a feast called ” fasting feast” in Bahaism while the Baha’i resources have repeatedly spoken about it in Bahaism. Yes, insisting on the universal house of justice mistake is denoting the ignorance of the supreme foundation of the leadership of Baha’ism or denoting its lying about preserving independence from Islam.
Not long ago; before Nowruz feast which is coincided with the fasting days of the Baha’is, the Baha’i network reported about the existence of a feast in Bahaism called “the fasting feast” which is similar to Fetr feast of Muslims referring to some Bahaism leaders’ texts.[1] However, it is interesting to be known that the Bahaism leadership foundation called the universal house of justice (which is considering itself as infallible), has rejected a feast called the fasting feast in the Baha’i works and claimed: ” For protracted years, some Arab and Iranian Baha’i refugees have considered March 21st as joint feasts; that is, the Nowruz feast and the fasting one. In some cases, the fasting feast has become more important than Nowruz? and 21st of March has been mentioned just as the fasting feast which is the memento of the Islamic Fetr feast.
He expresses that there isn’t any hint to fasting feast in the Blessed works.”[2]
Nevertheless, it is interesting to be known that contrary to the claim by the leadership foundation of Bahaism, the issue of fasting feast is so clear in Bahaism that the first resources of Bahaism have repeatedly spoken about the fasting feast. As the forged prophet of the cult has said in his book called the Aghdas:
«قَد کَتبنا عَلیکُم الصّیام أیّاماً مَعدودات و جَعلنا النّیروز عیداً لَکُم“[۳]
In the book, the treasury of limitations and commandments, it is spoken about the Baha’i fasting feast: “Chapter 6: The fasting feast is the Nowruz feast.[4] “or Ishragh Khawari has appointed the fasting feast as the source of its number in stating the time for the greatest feast of the Baha’is.[5] Also, Fadhel Mazandarani has put the fasting feast is the source for determining the time for the greatest feast of the Baha’is.[6]
However, the issue becomes more interesting when Ishragh Khawari clearly interprets Nowruz feast as the fasting feast of the Baha’is and considers that day as the joint feast: “When 19 days finished, then the next day that is Nowruz feast will be the fasting feast for you. That is, it will be the fasting feast and Nowruz feast for the disciples.”[7]
However, how is it possible for the known authors of Bahaism who have been coincided with the Baha’ism leaders and their books have been confirmed by the Baha’i heads have committed error in naming the fasting feast and the claim by the illegitimate next foundation called the universal house of justice[8] is correct?! Yes, insisting on the mistake by the foundation of the universal house justice or recounting the ignorance of the highest foundation of leadership or narrating it lying for preserving Baha’ism’s independence from Islam. Anyway, the claiming for infallibility of this foundation will be destroyed.
Nevertheless, it is strange for the so-called open-minded and independent Baha’i authors who write an article to prove the existence of “the feast of fasting” one day and remove and reject all of their reasoning another day in order for their supporting budget not to be cut!
