Shahin Modarresi, the Baha’i correspondence who is the colleague of Jerusalem post newspaper claimed for Iran that is detaining the religious leaders of the Jewish community of Tehran and Shiraz cities on charge of having relationship with the Zionistic regime. He wrote in a post in X social network:
“The Islamic regime is detaining rabbis and Chazzans of the Iranian Jewish community in Tehran and Shiraz cities due to their relationships with Israel. The Iranian Jewish are living in absolute honor, the communications have been interrupted and the messages have been decoded and hostage taking has been started. let’s be their voice before it will be late.”
The Baha’i users republished the news and used phrases like “hostage taking started” to try to provoke fear among the Iranian Jewish to intrigue anti-governmental reactions.
One of the main aims of the followers of the deviant cult of Bahaism for publishing such news is creating public dissatisfaction with security measures. Weakening these security measures particularly decrease in inspections can provide suitable atmosphere for destructive activities of the members of this cult.
