Concerning the issue of power and government in Bahaism, it should be said that Bahaism cult was going to gain power and movement since its establishment and movement.
If you look at Ali Muhammad Shirazi’s movement and investigate his teachings in the book “Bayan”, He is frankly speaking about forming the government of Babism: All mosques, holy tombs, organizations and even all houses must be destroyed and all books must be burnt and human being who don’t believe in the religion of Bab must be killed to form A Babi government in the world.
This process has continued since the onset of forming Babism till today.
Although Bahaism is different from Babism and they have been created after other; that is Bahaism has been formed after Babism, but the fact is that these are the same; that is Bahaism is the continuation of Babism.
When the period and time changed, Bahaism could not move with the same method, way and strategy used by Babism anymore. So, Bahaism changed its strategies and functions. Babism proceeded via violence, attack, war and bloodshed. Bahaism shouted the slogan of friendship and peacefulness.
This slogan of friendship and peace is the same as today slogans of the great powers that are shouting for democracy and better life; that is, Bahaism is following Babism’s seeking for government. The same method and function of Babism, but with another method and model.
If you investigate the historical section in Bagdad period of time, the 12-year period of time after Ali Muhammad Bab’s death and before the establishment of Bahaism cult, the Babis were too violent and created various issues in Bagdad which have been mentioned by Mirza Hussein Ali Nouri in his various books about this event.
“Abdul Baha” and “Shoghi Effendi” have spoken about it in their narrations and writings in the book “Qarn-e-Badi’a”; that is, it has not been a deniable issue.
It is interesting to be noted that they are trying to exculpate Mirza Hussein Ali Nouri out of this crime, but there are remarkable facts in Abdul Baha and Shogi’s speech which prove that basically the leader of these violence is Hussein Ali Nouri himself.

When they enter into “Acre” and Palestine land, they continue violence. In the first days of residing in Acre, those four Azalis who had come to Palestine suggested by the Ottoman government are killed.
As a matter of fact, Bahaism shows that it is ready to do each kind of action to gain power.
Hussein Ali Nouri has written many letters for the heads of various countries. It shows that Hussein Ali Nouri has started a political movement instead of a religious one. That is, he was going to gain power to use his then ruling powers. Even; during those periods of time, Hussein Ali Nouri was supported by the Russian ambassador based on the Capitulation law.
On the other side, why did Hussein Ali Nouri accept Russian citizenship? Well. He is a really political person to gain power.
During the next periods of time, Mirza Melkom Khan, the Armenian founder of Masonry in Iran suggests Hussein Ali Nouri to guide the Iranian community intellectually. In Abdul Baha’s texts, there is a really positive view towards Melkom Khan and he mentions Melkom Khan as a good character. It means that both of them were convergent companions having the same aims.
Consequently; in its historical transformations, Bahaism has tried to prove that it is going to gain power to establish the universal Baha’i government.
For example, why is proselytizing Bahaism forbidden in Israel?
The fact is that the colonial and arrogant supporters of Bahaism know that if they have opportunities, Bahaism will pass them. This is the nature of Bahaism as a cult.
