The holy prophet (P.H.): “Be careful, from which family will you take offspring; because the morality and attribute of each family will remain in their generation and their obliquity will influence on their offspring badly.”[1]

Marriage is the footstone of establishing a family as one of the most important social foundations of communities. Due to the importance, it is desired during history by governments or various cults to gain profit, political legitimacy, economic interests, territorial development, improvement of social status and etc.

During history, various groups have tried to do various measures to preserve, stabilize and dominate themselves. Meantime, the important role and application of marriage in ups and downs of governments, descendants, military and political statesmen of the countries of the world indicate that marriage category influences this issue so much.

Sectarian marriages or organizationally planned ones are conventional issues which have been existent among various cults which are going to be investigated in this article.

Bahaism is one of these cults in which proselytizing and recruiting are at the top of all issues.

Marriage is the best and the most secure bridge which provides the fulfillment of one of the necessities of the deviant cult of Bahaism; that is, proselytizing comparing other methods; because they make the person Baha’i using planned tricks otherwise they make a character out of them who won’t be bond with Islamic commandments.

From marriage process to the kind of interaction with others, reproduction and educating and etc. in this cult are supervised by a coded and planned system. So; if one of couple will be Baha’i in the shared life, the other partner will be set aside educating offspring and in performing beliefs.

For this reason, although it is recommended to the Baha’is to get married with non- Baha’is, but it is stressed for all Bahaism orders for marriage to be obeyed and regulated and the right for educating offspring is preserved in favor of Bahaism.

It is impossible for a Baha’i person to grow and educate his/her offspring based on the standards of another religion when he/she gets married with non-Baha’i person. Each Baha’i person who does such measure, he/she must be deprived of his/her administrative rights. The Baha’is who go to church and get married like the Christians will be deprived of the administrative rights.[2]

Nowadays, Baha’i marriage is done under the  supervision of local Baha’i councils of the local assembly that are obliged to regulate the conditions of Baha’i contract.[3]

Baha’i boys and girls aren’t allowed to get married with everybody willingly. All stages must be under the supervision of the Baha’i assembly from election to proposal. So that, if the organization disagrees and parents agree, all people who are involving the marriage will be boycotted.

“If parents agree their offspring’s marriage with a Muslim one contrary to Bahaism law, then administrative rights will be deprived. Concerning the case of Mr. and Miss… and their daughter, the Excellency the guardian of the faith considers the function of your assembly based on the administrative excommunication of three people as quite right and ok. The measure for Islamic contract is against the faith standards and really worrying. If Baha’is don’t assume such deeds and actions as condemned and reprehensible, other friends may be encouraged to commit such errors.”[۴]

Generally, one of the proselytizing methods and means in Bahaism is sexual attractions.

For instance, the organization provides facilities by holding mixed parties and creating emotional relationships to recruit people.

In Islam, marriage has its own conditions and characteristics and if a Muslim wants to get married with a non-Muslim one, there will be specific legitimate verdict for this marriage which will be answered by his imitating source of religious authority. Of course, the majority of scholars believe that this marriage will be illegitimate.

Such marriages will influence on the facts of one or more generations and will be controlled and limited by Bahaism organization.

Consequently, to be preserved theologically and behaviorally, the youth and their families must be aware of the historical instances and destructions left by this deviant cult of Bahaism and they must prevent the Baha’i organization to advance in influential affairs.
