As the mere absolute power of the Baha’is, the universal house of justice considers itself to be infallible and represses each critic voice controlling and putting pressure on the Baha’is. Unfortunately, the Baha’is have been accustomed to this idea that everything said by the universal house of justice has been the revelation and opposing the universal house of justice is opposing God.
Confronting the universal house of justice and the continental consultants and the local and national assemblies against the Baha’i critics and the open-minded is offensive, immoral and this is a complaint made by most educated people in Bahaism.
The universal house of justice which shout the slogan of the oneness of human being in the world not only confront non-Baha’is severely but also quarrel with the Baha’i educated and open-minded ones. Everybody imagines that the Baha’i creed is the enemy of freedom of thought and speech.
As a person who has been in Bahaism for years and is familiar with Bahaullah and Abdul Baha’s ideas completely has criticized this behavior of the universal house of justice in various cases. For instance! he writes in this regard:
To real test of morality of each religion does not depend on the behavior towards those who keep their mouths closed ( That is, those who don’t think and don’t question), but it depends on their behaviors with authors and the educated of that religion. This issue is deeply related to the history of their open-minded people and the rituals been applied in their culture. The Baha’i creed has completely failed in this test.”
Glyther writes in another article:
“The organizational Baha’is have gotten used to “power” and “position”. The religious positions, the spiritual positions and gnostic positions. That is right. That is wrong. This is Bahaullah method. That is not Bahaullah’s method. This attention and dependence on the superior’s power and position resemble a poison in the hearts of the members of the Baha’i community. According to me, this is the mere.
reason for the lack of influence of Bahaullah’s thought on the essence of reality seekers during the contemporary periods of time.
Bahaullah has been put into a tight frame and his teachings have been changed into tablets written on stone.
Unfortunately, it seems some of the complications existing among Haifa Baha’is including needing the central power or boycotting, cursing or excommunicating others are also existent among the ex-Baha’is, too. Although this relaxed behavior seems navigable, but it is practically a kind of aggressive one.
The prophets speak powerfully and firmly in order for anybody else not to be similar to prophet. For instance, the universal house of justice can’t and must not to exert such tone to be accompanied by holiness and power. God possesses the definite power, but human beings aren’t so. The universal house of justice (residing in Haifa) has preached this viewpoint that the answer for each question is in their hands. They are seeking for power, control, and dominance.
The universal house of justice says to send it each question you have to be answered! This method doesn’t help Bahaism to grow and is really destructive.
When there is a debate or question, various people must comment and debate in order for preposition to be clear. They must be silent for another person to make a decision for them! I think the Baha’i reform must avoid interpreting each issue, too.
I advocate incoherent organization, the freedom of belief and thought. Today morning, I was rereading Abdul Baha’s Mofavezat book. Although people are praying and psalming in group, it is not compulsory practically.
All compulsions and necessities have been made by Shogi Effendi, later on. What has been called as the iron organization.
Eventually, Glysher has considered the universal house if justice as Saddam Hussein and 19th century Pope and writes:
“Houshmand Fath A’zam, the ex-member of the universal house of justice had answered a question: “In the future, if the Baha’is gain power, the universal house of justice will definitely have a prison for its opponents.” (narrated by Joan Cole)
If it is so, what will be the difference between Bahaism viewpoint and that of 19th century Pope’s? While Bahaullah and Abdul Baha’s viewpoints are all in favor of freedom of thought and speech thought contrary to the universal house of justice’s point of view. Even inside the Baha’i community, this freedom has been violated by Saddam Hussein of Haifa (the universal house of justice).
The Baha’i tyranny and despotism government has been obvious everywhere … (Narrated by the article: “Bahaism needs another Vatican by John Cole).
