Exiling Mirza Hussein Ali to Iraq and escaping Mirza Yahya Sobhi Azal (Bahaullah’s brother) to that country caused Babi loop to be formed in Iraq and their activities to be started. Due to the importance of Sobhi Azal to be saved (Bab’s successor, Sobhi Azal was to be hidden in order not to be identified and Bahaullah was to be related to other people and to report secretly to Sobhi Azal.
Mirza Hussein Ali Nouri cancelled the game and claimed to be the leader of the Babis in Iraq. Sobhi Azal became aware of the issue. He got angry with this betrayal and the relations of two brother got worse. Bahaullah personally left Bagdad city in order not to be disfavored by the followers of Azal and went to Soleymanieh mounts secretly and hid there for two years.
Then, he was allowed to be present in public after sending an apologizing letter for Azal. Two-year departure to Soleymanieh gave Bahaullah this opportunity to have social intercourse with Naghshbandieh dervishes and to be familiar with reformist views of Safis including “Shah Nea’matullah Vali” and to acquire them the views to issue Baha’i teachings.
Glypher writes in this regard:
“… It seems the idea of intimacy and cooperation posed by Shah Nea’matullah Vali Sufi one hundred years before Bahaism emergence reflects the Baha’i universal system studied and learned by Bahaullah during his residence in Soleymanieh, Iragq.
One of this interesting ideas of Shah Nea’matullah Vali is his idea and request for creating nations union mid18th century….
Bahaullah has used his thoughts in many cases such as general expediencies, social welfare, the policy of administrative organization and prophecy (prophecy position). It seems Bahaullah has used and adapted new Sufism thoughts and the reformed philosophy of that period of time to set and fulfill his teachings. It is interesting to be noted that an author in the west called William Penn had the same thought at that period of time.”
