The Baha’ism organization is claiming for the approval of a plan in the Australian Parliament to support the Baha’is of Iran while; alongside with the selective confrontation of countries like Australian concerning the issue of human rights, the Baha’is of Iran don’t encounter with any restriction due to their beliefs.

The media of the Baha’ism organization is claiming for the approval of a plan in the Australian Parliament with the excuse of condemning the persecution of the Baha’is in Iran. Yan Goodnuf, the representative of Federal Liberal party in Australia who is supported by the other members of parliament said presenting t\a plan to Australian parliament: “We ask the Iranian government to allow the Baha’is to follow their religion freely and not to imprison them due to their beliefs ant to let them earn a living, continue their higher education and not be hated.[1]

The Baha’i media claimed for issuing an enactment leaked by the supreme commission of the Iranian government in October which had ordered the local official of Sari city to supervise the Baha’is activities of this city and also to do measures to identify the Baha’i students to make them Muslims[2].

The Answer:

۱- Although committing the crimes (such as economic, security; and announcing the membership in the hostile organization and civil disobedience) may create restrictions for the members of the Baha’ism organization in Iran, but contrary to the Baha’ism organization claim; according the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran[3], the Baha’is aren’t restricted in Iran at all[4].

Therefore according to the Baha’i organization declaration, the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Canberra said in a statement to SBS News: Although Baha’ism is rejected as a formal religion, but the Iranian people possess equal right in spite of their tribes. The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran also rejected the claiming for causeless arrest of the Baha’is, the prohibition for occupation and being deprived of education due to their belief.

Additionally, the contradictory confrontation of the countries like Australia in defending the Baha’is and not caring with the Iranian rights intrigued the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to ask Australia: “It is surprising that you were silent when the Iranian people were tyrannized by the mono-lateral and illegal sanctions especially when the fatal pandemic endangered the majority of Iranian people and now you are supporting the Baha’is![5]

۲- One of the main aims of the Baha’ism organization is the proselytizing one on the non-Baha’i kids while the Baha’ism organization introduces an enactment in Sari city attributing the lack of theological security the Baha’i students to Islam.[6] An organization which is unable to present any reason for researchers and thinkers; so it misuses the feature of Simplicity and unawareness of kids even contrary to ethical and international principles.[7]
