England was the strategic rival was of Russia in the region and was always following up the interior events of Iran with open eyes in order to use them for its benefits in proper time. The British ambassador in Iran was moment by moment sending the reports of the condition of Babis uprising to the ministry of foreign affairs of its government of origin. In the book “branching in Bahaism”, Ismaeel Raeen has published some of the mentioned report documents.

When Babism cult was separated and divided into” Azali” and “Baha’I” groups in quarrels within a group during 1242s S.H., Azalis were hunted by the English and the Baha’is remained in the Russians’ share. Lord Curzon, the famous British politician reports about assigning pension for Yahya Sobhi Azal by the British government.

With the outbreak World War I, the presence and activity of the British government in the middle East and particularly in Iran became more than be issue before. This issue provided the opportunity to improve the relationships with the Baha’i leaders.

Collapsing Czar emperor late World War I and gaining power by the communists who looked upon the Baha’is as extra eye of Czar government, the Baha’is lost supports by the northern neighbor of Iran and depended on Britain.

The British government supported the Baha’is politically; in return, the Baha’is served the British troops by giving provisions to fight against the Ottoman forces.

For this reason, the British government thanked Abdul Baha formally and Lord Allenbi, the military commander of the region bestowed the “sir” medal to Abdul Baha.

Bestowing the “Sir” medal to Abdul Baba called the Baha’is leadership family happy!”[1]

Hassan Nikou, one of the ex-Baha’i proselytizers who became Muslim later on considers bestowing the mentioned title and medal by the British to Abbas Effendi (Abdul Baha) as the reward for his services and the Baha’is spying for the British ordered by Abdul Baha during World war between Mottafeghin and Mottahedin.[2]

During the years 1289-1291 S.H. (1911-1913 A.D.), Abdul Baha traveled to Europe and America and gave various speech in different assemblies of those lands and clearly advocated England and America.

For instance; in one of this speeches, he claimed in 1289 S.H. (1911 A.D.): “The Iranian people are really happy with my trip to England. My trip causes kindness between Iran and England. The total relationship will be created between the two countries. The result is that Iranian people will be sacrificed for the British ones soon and vice versa.”[۳]

The historical evidence of the relationship between Bahaism and England:

      I) According to Shogi Effendi, when Bahaullah was exiled to Iraq, General Campbell, the British Console in Bagdad wrote a letter to Bahaullah to accept allegiance to British government to be supported.[4]

II) Abbas Effendi (Abdul Baha) welcomed the dominance of British troops on Qods warmly and considered this usurp dominance on the first Kiblah of Muslims as the establishment of justice tents… .”[۵]

III) Maneckji Limji Hataria, the agent of the British intelligent service in India entered into Iran from Iraq in 1270 A.H. to resolute the Zoroastrian Iranians’ problems. In Iran, he communicated with the Baha’is via Mirza Abulfadhl Golpaygani.[6]

IV) In 1908 A.D. (1287 S.H.), Karim Dawatgar (dead in 1918 A.D./1396 S.H./1336 A.H.) the agent of aborted assassination of Sheikh Fadhlullah Nouri along with other people such as Mirza Muhammad Nejat Khorasani, the member of Baha’i cult and the one who was related to British embassy was arrested. According to Seyyed Hassan Tagi Zadeh, the representative of the British embassy was present at Muhammad Nejat’s inquiry sessions and cared about Mirza Muhammad not to be bludgeoned!

      V) Failing the Ottoman government and dividing the country into several smaller countries and emigrating the Jewish people of the world to Palestine region agreed by Britain, the opportunity for the establishment of Israel government was provided.

VI) This time, the Baha’is preferred to back the Jewish who were the product of colonial and divisive policies of England in the region.

VII) David Kelly who was in charge of the Baha’is assembly in England financially, traveled to Iraq 37 times under the cover of the members of inspection board of the UN.

He was commissioned by the universal house of justice to change the reports of the British ministry of England; so that, the British government is convinced to help occupy and attack Iraq thereby paving the way for the Baha’i influence on Iraq.

Kelly succeeded, but before revealing the lack of existing nuclear weapon in Iraq in Iraq and the political pressures inside England, he was called by the prime minister and the parliament of England on July 2003 A.D. to explain. However, he was secretly killed before participating at the mentioned meeting.[7]
