After the victory of Israel, the Baha’is had been happy with the victory and said officially: “The government of Israel has been the world here in this war and we as the Baha’ism community praise the activity of this dear tribe.”
According to history, the accompaniment of the deviant cult of Baha’ism with the usurp regime of Israel goes back to the time when the Zionists cooperated the Colonial governments particularly England to occupy Palestine. Hussein Ali Nouri, the founder of Baha’ism in this puzzle posed the tiding of gathering and the Jewish gaining honor in the promised land and gave good news about the establishment of Israel government.[1]
Bahji Palace
After Hussein Ali Nouri’s death, the second leader of the Baha’is, Abdul Baha visited the Zionism activists in Bahji palace. The visit took place in 1910 A.D. nearly 40 years before the establishment of Israeli government which indicates the strategic depth of relationship between Baha’ism heads and the Zionists.
After the establishment of Israel government, Shoqi Effendi the forth leaders of Baha’is appointed Palestine land as the main center for Baha’ism and Israeli government was also the first one which recognized Baha’ism officially as a religion. Shoqi effendi obliged the Baha’is international council to have social intercourses with the guardians of Israel government.[2] Ben Gurion, the prime minister of Israel has considered intimacy between Israeli regime and the Baha’is as extensive.[3]
During this framework, Israel provided special opportunities for the Baha’is that Shoqi mentioned some of them in his message dated April 1954 A.D. For instance, the Israel government recognized the Branches of the National Assemblies of the Baha’is of some countries in the occupied Palestine officially in order to have independent activity. Also, a special office called Baha’ism office was established in the ministry of religions of Israel. Exemption of the Baha’is of paying charges and taxes in Israel, bestowing field palace to the Baha’is and recognizing the Baha’i blessed days are of the privileges.[4]
Abdullah Rafiee of the Baha’is of Iran went to Israel in Isfand 1339 S.H. and wrote a report of his trip: “In Tel Aviv customs, when we introduced ourselves as Baha’is, they immediately and respectfully dismiss us without inspection while others even the Jews were being investigated and inspected carefully.[5]“
The fact is that the relationships between the Baha’is and Zionists go back before the establishment of the Israel government. They exchange services having the same enemy called Muslims.
