The investigation of tradition books indicates that Sharaf-Al-Shams seal hasn’t been proved and there are many vagueness concerning it. At least until the 7th century, there hasn’t been any matter regarding Sharaf-Al-Shams in the tradition books.

Some virtual networks have recently claimed for Shraf-Al-Shams to belong to Babism and Baha’ism. So, attributing it to the Excellency Ali (P.H.) is doubtful, too. However, the background of it goes back at least to the 7th century A.H. while, the Babism and Baha’ism have been existed in 13th century A.H. consequently, attributing the seal to Babism and Baha’ism is irrational because it has been emerged before them.

Thus, it is a non-Islamic one which is misused by Babism and Baha’ism to be the center of attention

In this regard, the clergyman Alawi Tehrani is stressing this matter that it is originated by Baha’ism.

The offices of some sources of religious authorities such as the office of Ayatollah Systani in Qom city have stressed this matter that it isn’t originated form Baha’ism.

The clergyman Seyyed Reza Isfahani, the manager of the center for the celestial studies of the office of Ayatollah Systani in Qom reacted Mr. Alawi’s comment and said: Mr. Alawi is a respectful clergyman; but his speech is due to his a little information about astronomy. The discussion of Sharaf Shams seal isn’t related to one or two hundred years; but it is an astronomical historical event.
