A deep insight into the history of nationalization of oil industry by a historian will make him/her figure out that various reasons and factors have caused this influential movement in the contemporary history of Iran to be failed. The historians have considered many reasons for the failure of Dr. Mosaddeq and the movement of oil industry nationalization. However; according to us, the influence of the movements dependent on alien policies along with some mistakes of Dr. Muhammad Mosaddeq as the leader of the national front accelerated the failure of its government. In the first glance, the really bad reaction and the indifferent one of Dr. Mosaddeq concerning Ayatollah Broujerdi’s plea concerned with announcing the Baha’ism organization as illegal by Dr. Mosaddeq’s national government and his humorous answer to Hojjatul Islam Falsafi seems strange when he answered: “The Baha’is are trying for their religion. Also, try to proselytizing your religion. Nevertheless; according to historical evidence, Dr. Muhammad Mosaddeq had had influential and continuous relationships with prominent Baha’i characters outside Iran as the prime minister of Iran and the first person in the Iranian nation front. The name of people like Dr. Houshmand Fath A’zam, the influential member of national assembly of the Baha’is of America and Fadhli Imani, the member of national assembly of the Baha’is can be seen in the list of the visitors of Dr. Muhammad Mosaddeq in Netherland and the United States.

During these meetings, the issues such as the necessity for the freedom of Baha’is in Iran were investigated. In exchange, the Baha’is announced their supports and confirmations of the heads of national front. Bahram Choubineh claims in the booklet of Dr. Muhammad Mosaddeq and the Baha’is for the prime minister of Iran not to be able to act his promise and to provide a calm conditions in Iran for the Baha’is. The secret revealed from these meetings is as follows:

  1. The national front was at first a totally secular and against the entrance of religion into policy. If it had supported religion in some occasions, it would have been due to political expediencies and it wouldn’t have been the symbol of religious zeal of this political movement.

The national front had had a binary approach towards Baha’ism which indicated a kind of political hypocrisy inside this organization. This behavior caused Mosaddeq’s popularity to be decreased and his party not to be supported by the Islamic scholars.

Due to organizational and purposeful measures of the Baha’is, opening power gates for this deviant political movement caused for the Baha’is to form one of the bases of American-English coup of 28th of Mordad called Ajax plan during their social-political life in the era of nationalizing oil industry. The presence of military figures such as general Riyahi and general Ataullah Kiyani in police force and army during Mosaddeq’s government and their obstructionism in favor of coup plotters are the obvious catastrophic consequence of trusting on hell and spying organization of Baha’ism.
