The differences between men and women are of the anxioms of Islam. Islam has confirmed it, too and has stated each gender’s duties based in justice and had assumed piety as the criterion of valuation.

The equality between men and women’s rights is of the teachings of Baha’ism. In one side, the Baha’is attack to Islam concerning this issue that the rights of men and women haven’t been regulated and the Baha’ism creed is merely regulating this equality. When asked: Why are women deprived of regular rights in Baha’ism, they say we wanted to exempt women to do difficult tasks.

Hussein Ali Nouri believes: “The Highest Pen has removed the differences between men and women…”

It is interesting to be noted that women who form half of the Baha’i community aren’t allowed to be members of the highest and supreme organ of Baha’ism decision making. Concerning heritage, women’s right is the least! Women don’t inherit their husband’s houses and cloths! The Baha’i girl doesn’t inherit her father’s house and cloths!

The elder son inherits more than the other brothers and sisters. All in all, boys inherit more than girls in Baha’ism. It is written in the book “A glance at the Baha’i religion” narrated by Mirza Hussein Ali Bahaullah: “It is impossible for the world to be completed except for the complete equality between men and women.” For this reason, the equality between men and women was posed as one of the twelve teachings of Baha’ism, but even there is a difference between rural and urban woman.
