The relationships between the Baha’ism heads and Zionism is longer than the lifetime of the usurp regime of Israel.
Transferring Baha to Acre located at the occupied Palestine was done years before Israel was formed. It provided the opportunity for closeness and cooperation between the Baha’is and the Zionistic centers.
This bond continued during the chairmanship of Abdul Baha, Baha’s successor and the Baha’is participated seriously at the fulfillment of the strategy of the establishment of the Jewish government in Palestine started since 1870s and 1880s A.D.
Abbas Effendi says to one of the Baha’i Jewish families: Here is Palestine. Here is the holy lands. The Jewish tribe will come back to these lands, soon. They will gain David kingdom and Solomon wisdom. (Habib Moa’yyed memoirs, p. 20)
Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, one of the Zionism activists (one of the presidents of the occupier regime of Israel) specified his visit with Abbas Effendi (Amri news the formal periodical of the Iranian Baha’i assembly, Tir 1333 S.H., No. 3, pp. 8-9). The says the date of the visit is during the years 1909-1910 A.D. that is nearly 40 years before the foundation of Israel 1948 A.D. which indicated the depth of strategic relationships between the Baha’ism heads and the Zionists.
When Israel wins, Abdul Baha prays for Israel glory and the Jewish honor which could wander Palestinian people using the wildest crimes and says: Soon, Israel will become glorious. The reality sun will rise and the guidance ray will cover Israel in order for everybody to enter into the holy land happily (Habib Moa’yyed’s memoirs, Vol. 1, p. 53).
During this period of time, he was in touch with Rothschild descendants, the main capitalists of the Jewish independence plan in Palestine
They were in touch with each other based on a series of common interests to confront against Islam. The Baha’i were consistently being supported financially by Zionism.
When Abdul Baha died Herbert Samuel (the first supreme commissar of the UK in Palestine) participated at Abdul Baha’s funeral. (The comprehensive history of Baha’ism p. 566).
Eventually during the leadership of Shoqi Effendi, the successor of Abdul Baha the usurp government of Israel gained power and Shoqi welcomed the establishment this usurp government (branching in Baha’ism, p. 169).
For the first time, the name of the holy land that is Israel was heard to be said by Shoqi Effendi. He says to the Baha’is when he was congratulating the new year:
“The evidence of the divine promise to the offspring of Khalil and the heirs of Moses, the government of Israel has been established in the holy land.”
He visited the president of Israel on Farvardin 1332 S.H. and wished for the development and prosperity of Israel.
The president of Israel cited the Baha’is measures and endeavors in the country of Israel and expressed his cordial wishes for the Baha’is success in Israel and across the world. He also reminded his visit with the ex-leader of Baha’is, Abdul Baha several years ago (The comprehensive history of Baha’ism, Bahram Afrasyabi, pp. 572-573).
During the war between Arabs and Israel, the Baha’is have advocated Israel and proselytized against Muslims. They were also gathering money to help the Israeli army.
It is said in one of the documents after the 6-days war between Arabs and Israel:
“Nearly 120 million Tomans has been gathered by the Iranian Baha’ism to be sent to the universal house of justice in Haifa. However, they plan to give it to Israel army (the history of the movement of 15th of Khordad narrated by Jawad Mansouri, the center for the documents of the Islamic Revolution, 1377 S.H., Vol. 1, pp. 322+-323).
Additionally; during these years, the Baha’is were conflicting with the Muslims in order to deviate the Iranian people’s minds concerning the formation of the Zionistic government in Palestine and immigrating the Iranian Jewish to Israel extensively and to prevent the Iranian people’s supporting the Arabic countries afflicted by the war with Israel.
To appreciate the services of the cult and their attempts to form the usurp government of Israel and create deviation and disunity in the Islamic community and to exploit them politically, economically more in the world countries particularly Iran, Israel recognized Baha’ism as a divine religion: Additionally, the properties of the followers of the cult were supported and the Baha’is were excluded to pay taxes (The Blessed writings, Nowrouz, 101 Badi’a, p. 159).
The successor of Abdul Baha, Shoqi Effendi says: The government of Israel provided facilities for us (Amri news, 107 Badi’a, No. 8, p. 2; narrated by researchers in Baha’ism history).
It is said in one of the periodicals of the cult: we announce them about the expansion of the relationships between the Baha’is and the guardians of affairs of the mentioned government. Ben Gurion, the prime minister of Israel expressed the Baha’is intimate sensations for the development of the mentioned government and he has answered: Since the foundation of the Israeli government, the Baha’is have had intimate relationships with the government of Israel.
Shoqi effendi has consistently preferred supporting Israel than other countries and ordered the Baha’is to form national and spiritual assemblies based on the laws and rules of Israel government.
