In one aspect, the problem of “Baha’ism and university: in Iran is related to the presence of Baha’is at current universities and; next, it reminds us to so-called educational institute ran by the organization. To investigate the first aspect, it is distinctly observed that many Baha’is are educating alongside other students. Albeit those Baha’is residing in Iran who are performing illegal actions related to the organization are confronted and encountered naturally, the educational records of many Baha’i students indicate the possibility of their presence at university. The second aspect; that is, establishing an illegal institute by the Baha’i organization will be investigated more next.

Primarily, the Baha’i heads consider educational places as good capitals for proselytizing due to the great numbers of youth there. They have concentrated on preaching Baha’ism in educational environments being aware of the importance of the influence of investigative minds of these people. They also stress on youth sensitive emotions as good sources to attract and preach their organizational beliefs:

“Proselytizing issue at universities and colleges will be of great importance cos the students have generally possessed open minds. If the faith is introduced correctly to them, they will enter into it and their wisdoms and emotions will be satisfied favorably. However, such attempt must just be done by people who have been educated at university being familiar with the educated and intelligent youth thoughts. (Written by Shoqi Effendi to one of the Baha’is, February 3, 1932).

One of advantages of attracting the young students is their lack of bonds with special places and their relative independence; so that, a young person welcomes each responsibility which causes inspiration of independence feeling. In one of its messages, the organization explains that the youth can obey the sectarian orders more easily and will be changed into an effective force after being Baha’i:

For each young person, including Baha’i or non-Baha’i youth is an important age. In this life stage, definite decisions will be made and a person will strengthen the foundation of his/her life building… In this period of time, the young person’s mind searches and inquires in order to gain the spiritual rudiments and standards which lead the next behaviors and actions of human being. These factors will open the greatest opportunities and campaigns for the Baha’i youth… The second field serving is proselytizing for God’s faith and preaching God’s blows especially among youth… Basically, because young people don’t take on the responsibility of running a family, they can easily select the places of their residence, education, and job. They don’t feel any restriction in executing such affairs…” (The universal house of justice message to the Baha’i youth across the world, June 10, 1966)

Due to such teaching, when a Baha’i young person enters into university having such a look, he/she looks upon all his/her classmates as proselytizing cases and uses all moments to work on their thoughts and fluent souls. One of the examples of such victims is Ms. “M. Karimi” who has been bothered by one of her Baha’i classmates that says in one of her interviews: “Why should a Baha’i person enter into university? It’s true that I was negligent. I don’t want to perk I am not guilty; but now I have concluded that if I become in charge in this country, I will make Baha’i kids not go to school! Because they misuse each opportunity.” (if you engage in Baha’ism cult, you will miss God, Shaffafiat magazine interview with Mehri Karimi, No. 33, Tir, 1391.)

In 1366, Baha’ism formed its special scientific cadre, an informal institute, to teach the academic courses called Baha’i Institute for Higher Education, B.I.H.E.

This Baha’ism measure was illegal like other activities of the cult. It was even contrary to inter-organizational orders because according to the organization heads’ order obeying the government is necessary for the members; so that Baha’is have been prohibited doing something which is against the government: “God has bestowed the superficial government to kinds; so nobody is allowed to do against the kings ‘views.” (Hussein Ali Nouri, Eqtedarat and several other tablets, p. 324)

Anyway, this illegal institute continued its activities for years by the name of education; but for proselytizing Baha’ism and achieving organizational aims. Although many Baha’is are defending this illegal action of the organization and claiming for no religious issue to be posed in these educational course; but it has been observed that exercises and educational notes have been written in the path of being Baha’i.

In other layer of the adventure, Baha’ism has established this so-called virtual university to be in touch with Baha’i hands in America and Canada to attract people and to preach and settle Baha’ism. Consequently, it is necessary to confront and smash such illegal foundation related to enemy.
