One of the tricks of Bahaism for recruiting is to make you refer to the teachings of the holy Quran in truth-seeking and avoiding imitation blindly; while the Baha’is consider truth-seeking innovated by them in one side and on the other side they have blocked each way for their followers to investigate the truth by creating a closed policy.
When you are debating with a Baha’i proselytizer about religion, he/she is trying first to is introduce your beliefs originated from imitation and his/her beliefs as originated from investigation and searching. The Baha proselytizer is making you refer to several verses of the holy Quran in which direct you to search for truth- seeking and is introducing truth as equal to recognizing and believing in Bahaism.
It is said in one of proselytizing networks of Bahaism: “Contrary to what most people think, the holy Quran is repeatedly encouraging us to be just and to investigate the truth and not to accept our ancestors’ beliefs without the criterion of wisdom.”[۱]
Then the Baha’i proselytizers are attributing to several verses of the holy Quran which are calling people to investigate the truth and to avoid ignorance; for instance:
: “وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا”
” And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of [feeling in] the heart will be enquired into [on the Day of Reckoning].[2]
To answer the Bahaism attempt for preaching its beliefs with the excuse of the holy Quran’s recommendation for truth-seeking:
۱) Bahaism claims for its unexample teachings invented by it. One of those teachings is the independent investigation of truth.[3] However, the above-mentioned text is indicating that the independent investigation of truth is not a Baha’i teaching, but it is an Islamic one stressed by Allah repeatedly in the holy Quran.
۲) Islam and the holy Quran are directing human beings towards truth-seeking, but Bahaism teachings prevent the Baha’is to search and investigate the truth! Creating an organizational and political system which is strict, the Baha’i leaders have practically blocked the way for independent investigation of truth.[4]
The Bahaism which confesses that the verses of the holy Quran invite human being to truth-seeking, considers each opposing call as satanic and forbidden for its followers: “If you see everybody who is merited even for a bit (that is it violates the Baha’i organization or he/she is unholy (that is he/she is doubtful with Bahaism), you must of course avoid him / her, because it will harm God’s faith because people have been seen to be bond with carnal desires and told the right. These people are worse than poison and they must be avoided.[5]
