In the midst of terrible events and natural and social unrests, when a detailed analysis of the event has not yet been presented and the society is in a state of shock, it is one of the significant incidents that have been exploited and influenced by some self-interested governments and profit-seeking cults throughout history.
Experiencing terrible events such as floods, earthquakes, social and sudden pain and etc. causes a severe mental wound because at this time a kind of suspension between life and death is felt and there is a short time interval which collapses the individual or even social personality of people having characteristics that were considered as values for them until that moment. This state of suspension is a kind of shock or mental paralysis that is very similar to what is called the “Shock Doctrine”. The shock doctrine is a social model of psychological shock therapy and works like this: “As a result of a major disaster (for example, a coup, a terrorist attack, market collapse, war, tsunami or hurricane) a state of general shock takes over the entire population. Just as deafening music and beatings in an interrogation jail loosens and rouses a prisoner, falling bombs, waves of terror, and crushing storms serve to loosen and rouse an entire society… Shocked societies are often leaving things which were stubbornly being protected in the normal situations.
In this way, aware people are trying to exploit the moments in a maximum state when people are more flexible and psychologically prepared to leave their previous positions on a macro and social scale. The Baha’ism organization is one of these organizations whose performance record shows that it has been in such situations for a long time as far as it can be said that they are lying in wait for an accident and riot to occur and Baha’ism will be appeared in the midst of it.
Although the presence of Baha’ism in communities and its approach in the functions of propaganda and gradual influence that are carried out under the cover of community building and educational classes, but Baha’ism organizations can also be clearly traced among communities that have faced an accident or social shock.
For many years, the leaders and heads of the cult had ordered the Baha’is to enter the society quickly in the form of saviors in various calamities, and they have clearly stated the main goal: Focusing on the Baha’i teachings, proselytizing and recruitment. For example, in a message, it is stated as follows: “Undoubtedly, although the current situations are terrifying in its immediate results, but it has helped intensify the focus on the inescapability of the teachings of Bahaullah for the requirements of this age and time, and will provide many opportunities to communicate them to the countless waiting souls who are fond of divine guidance.
The many opportunities to which the center of the organization points can also be seen in the events of the current era: In various earthquakes happened in the north and west of the country, in the corona disease when people were dancing with the initial anxiety caused by it and etc. Baha’ism used such a model in all instances.
The disordered and painful society has always been a suitable pretext for the Baha’i missionaries who first appear as aid workers and benefactors and then lead the addressees in the desired direction by brainwashing and exploiting social vulnerability.
The experiences from the areas afflicted by natural disasters also show that sectarian groups, especially Baha’ism appears in the areas immediately after the occurrence of natural disasters and propagates its deviant creed and tries to deceive a range of people by deluding them.
In various earthquakes and floods happened in the country, the center of the Baha’ism organization was encouraging the Baha’is to be present on the scene by issuing messages and was emphasizing that “the Baha’is of Iran are able to act with the necessary insight regarding the issues related to their individual and social lives.” The use of the word insight in an issue such as helping the earthquake victims becomes understandable when they are trying to convey their clear messages by this way that the Baha’is are present in the affected areas purely for humanitarian reasons regardless of their organizational affiliation.
In such calamities, a group of educators with an appearance that is completely out of the norm of the region use the depressed and critical atmosphere and attract the children of the region by creating an emotional bond and bombarding them with love. This is the beginning of the story. A connection created in difficult mental and even physical conditions creates a bond that sometimes continues for months later and even after the presence of that instructor has ended.
