– What happened for you that caused you to turn against Bahaism?
– I grew up in a special environment since my birth. Although the beliefs of external community were different from me but they were always saying we the Baha’is are thinking rightly. For this reason, changing belief is really difficult. Even disagreeing with the external community was an honor. If we had a problem, they would say: “How good, were you fired? what a grace!” The unjust people, they didn’t pay attention to a person life that was destroying.
– Do you remember a sample of lawlessness in the Bahaism organization in Iran?
– The most explicit one is insisting on proselytizing and recruiting Muslims. When I was at school, I myself was proselytizing. It is not direct to say someone to become Baha’i. When you continually speak about Bahaism teachings and say it is better your belief, it works. At school time, friends we were saying to our friends we were Baha’is. Our belief has come after Islam and etc. This is exactly proselytizing and Rouhi plan is more obvious than proselytizing.
Since our birth, we were not told to be Baha’is, but they spoke so that as if there is nothing but Bahaism. The Baha’is aren’t allowed to proselytize in Iran but they practically proselytize everywhere. When you are taught special poems and games when you are 2-3 years of age, they are training you as they want. It will be impossible if they say they don’t proselytize.
– Bahaism believes the main center of the organization (the universal house of justice) is infallible. So, the danger is that the members of the organization perform each order of the center without any question even if it is contrary to the laws of their country. Why don’t the Baha’is reconsider their teachings? Do you think so?
– No, I don’t accept it. All of us are fallible. However; as mentioned in their books, the servants and the Baha’is believe that when the universal house of justice has a meeting and the members are speaking there, the Excellency Baha (Hussein Ali Nouri) is sensed there. When I was living among the Baha’is, I was asking myself: is it possible for us to hold a 9-people meeting to sense Baba? Nevertheless, it didn’t happen.
– According to you, why did the servants emphasizes that the universal house of justice is infallible and their orders must be fulfilled?
– Because they want to control people to go ahead based on determined aims. That is, each person is a soldier to fulfill the Baha’is aims.
– Didn’t you ask them to explain about this logical objection?
– There is a no way but accepting what is said in a community where you live. Everything resembles a definite law for the Baha’is. Basically, one of the reasons that caused me to have a problem with this belief was that what was said ended in this statement: “He” (the Baha’i heads) has said. Who is “he”? Why has he said so. It is interesting to be said that some cases have been added by them later on, and they are not from the Bahaism founders. For instance: If nine members of the universal house of justice make a decision, it will be infallible.
– Will a Baha’i person encounter a problem if he/she wants to change his/her thought based on the independent investigation of truth?
– Yes, the protection committee will confront him/her. There are some groups who try to change his/her view via debating with him/her. It shows that the Baha’is aren’t free and the independent investigation of truth is not real. When a person says I don’t believe in Bahaism and when he/she is 16-17 years of age, the protection committee will speak with him/her to convince him/her to think based on what they want. At last, they say: you will be boycotted if you do not accept. Why do you disgrace if you believe in the independent investigation of truth?
– Why did you select Islam after turning against Bahaism?
– I have a special story. Maybe, I can’t explain about it more. One of the advantages of Islam is the tranquility of a Muslim. The second one is that Islam is not organizational. In Islam, no need to be in touch with special people to keep your religion. Your religion belongs to you. You are free to be Muslim here or in Australia or in any other country. In slam, nobody is allowed to disturb other one. There isn’t any proselytizing in Islam. I became Shia because I severely became interested in the Excellency Ali (P.H.). Due to his confrontation with society, his logical and acceptable speech and also his valuable book. It is said in Bahaism: You must forgive for God’s sake. However, Islam says: You must take your right. I really like this issue.
According to me, Islam gives special happiness to a person. Mentioning was vain in Bahaism cos it changes your life course but in Islam, I can have a tranquil life style and inner happiness.
– Did the assembly of Australia insist on being bond with organization like Iran?
– No, it wasn’t important for them whether people come to meetings or not. Be sure, all these plans are for Iran. Nobody called me to ask about the reason for not going to the meetings.
– Why does the Bahaism organization emphasize on Iran to such an extent that it breaks the law to be active here? What is its aim?
– The Iranian community is really coherent. According to my opinion, Bahaism has been established and made by a special group which is maybe English or Russian. Their orders are quite economic. The members are told not to meddle with policy. Just earn money and don’t meddle with any issue. What does it mean? They want an obedient society. Their aim is to make all people Baha’i. The question is that: How do you manage you the government while it is forbidden for you to meddle with policy.
