In circumstances where rereading the deviant religious movements have been changed into a strategic necessity, Mazandaran province will be the host for national congress to deionize the historical resistance of Iranian people against the religious deviations focusing on Babism sedition end its consequence.
The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported about holding a national congress entitled the congress of Mostafa Khan Sourtiji on the solar month of Day 4, 1404 S.H. aiming the investigation of the historical, political and social dimensions of Babism and the method of confronting people of Mazandaran against it.
He announced in the cultural summit of Mazandaran province that this congress is being held to introduce Babism cult seditions and making pattern out of resistant characters against religious deviations and it tries to reread the role of Mazandaran against this deviant movement based on documents analytically.
According to the head of the Islamic Azad univensity head of Mazandaran, the scientific axes of this congress include the investigation of the reasons and factors existing inside and outside the country to form Babism in Iran, studying the activities and riots of the Babis contrastively in Mazandaran with other religions of the country, the role of Qajar government, the social opportunities of riots in the province and analyzing the role of famous people like Muhammed Ali Barforoushi and Mullah Hussein Boshrouyee.
He added that the consequences of Babism presence in Mazandaran, forming Azali and Baha’i cults, historiography of this event and criticizing and investigating studies done in this regard will be of the other debates posed in the congress.
