Is the relationship between cults and abroad monitored? Are there any international motives beyond them or not?
This discussion is included in the domain the study of cult movements and the researches related to it. To analyze these kinds of movements, we consider various stages which must gradually and regularly be followed up.
In this process, the first stage is related to “description”; that is, recognizing cults and their leaders exactly and objectively.
In many cases, people aren’t even aware of these movements or they don’t know that they are influenced by a special person or group.
After description stage, we should refer to the analysis of “reasons and factors”. These reasons may be the forerunner or momentary.
For instance, some mental fields which have been formed at childhood or the method of confronting with religious concepts in which we have just turned to “adaptationism” or “sign-centeredness” instead of understanding the meaning deeply can provide the opportunities for the next deviations.
For example; in Mahdism domain, we are merely searching for signs of reappearance, sometimes without providing the educational and cognitive fields of this belief.
However, when we start analyzing the momentary factors, they can be investigated in five groups based on experience;
I) Political factors: In this part, some people may have tendencies or even have relationships with security services of aliens. Of course, these cases are little and of exceptional and they can’t often be followed up.
II) Economic factors: Financial motives greed to acquire wealth or position can also be of the important factors in forming or continuing some of these cults.
III) Psychological factors: Abnormalities or mental disorders, and emotional voids can be influential in directing the person towards establishing or joining a cult.
IV) Sociological factors: The issues related to social position, the lack of social investment, identity crisis and sensing being boycotted by the community are influential in this regard.
V) Transmetrial factors: This part is consisted of unusual or extraordinary beliefs and experiences on which are sometimes, depended.
For instance, late master Mir Jahani who was of those who were really interested in Imam of the Time (May Allah hasten his reappearance) and had written various poetry in this regard and served a person whom he thought he is the very promised “Khorasani” because he had seen him many munificence.
Up and down, this being influenced by dream, consulting a holy book (or bidding beads) at random in order to decide one one’s procedure or some so-call extra-ordinary manifestations which aren’t logical or religious may be happened.
Nevertheless; in most cases, which are related to the contemporary cults, there aren’t documented evidence concerning their direct relationship with foreign security services. The mere case which can be pointed out in this regard is related to Mr. “Kazemini Broujerdi” who left Iran quickly to go to Turkey.
There, some media and political forces such as Mr. Nouri Zad and other people invested on him and the course of returning to Iran was provided for him.
However; in several cases, the existent cults have been formed due to personal issues such as mental disorders or personal greed of people more than being dependent on the intelligent services of foreigners directly.
Consequently, it cannot definitely be stated about the systematic bond between these cults and the international security foundations, but we often encounter with interior and native phenomena which have been originated from mental and social positions of a person. That is; in fact, the interior field for the interior field activity of a cult must be provided to be used for foreign power interests and profits.
The site secretary:
For instance, if the history of Bahaism organization is investigated exactly, the main social field of its establishment goes back Iran’s failure during Fath Ali Shah Qajar’s period of time against Russia. Because in this war the Russian won eventually in spite of Shia scholars’ judgement and early victories.
This failure caused a kind of spiritual and religious disappointment in Iran.
People were looking for a way to remove this hopelessness and Ali Muhammad Bab came up with the idea under the guidance of intelligent service officer of Russia and claimed for being the gate to communicate with Imam of the Time (P.H.). In a relatively short period of time, he recruited many followers in various cities of Iran. In this example, the internal context of the emergence of the cult can be clear observable.
