The Ottoman kings particularly Soltan Abdul Hamid who was dreaming to rule Muslims was always supporting people and groups who were uprising against the Iranian Shia people and Qajar kings. So, when Abdul Baha went to Ottoman land, he kept in touch with him and Abdul Baha wrote a tablet to confirm the Ottoman government:

“O. God, o Lord, I wish your unseen reinforcements, unique graces and merciful compassion for the exalted Ottoman state and the prophetic caliphate; may its power be established across the expanse of the earth, and may the edifice of its greatness endure.”

However, this friendship didn’t last because Turks figured out the relationship between Abdul Baha and Britain very soon and decided to destroy all Baha’is residing in Ottoman.

Abdul Baha fell under suspicion of collaborating with the English against Turks. After an investigation and confirmation of inspection board, it appeared likely that the Turks would exile or even hang him. Exiling Baha to Acre was the best event for both the Baha’is and himself.

The agreement between Browne and Baha caused England the total supports of them in Ottoman domain. For their part, the Baha’is dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to serve British interests.

The cooperation between the Baha’is and the British troops that were going to confiscate Palestine and support the Jewish in Ottoman emperor territory after an agreement with Browne indicated that Abdul Baha saved wheat and food supplies for them.

For this kind of cooperation, Jamal Pasha decided to kill Abdul Baha. In fact, Abbas Effendi known Abdul Baha had become a devotee for Britain to continue Baha’s course.

Jamal Pasha (the commander in chief of Ottoman troops) threatened Abba Effendi to execute due to espionage. Nevertheless, the British intelligent service got aware of the decision and decided to save him.

Shogi Effendi, the last remainder of the Baha’i heads writes:

“Meanwhile, the with) “Meanwhile, the intelligent service organization commissioned the (British) commander of Haifa front to make necessary decisions to save him and to prevent executing evil plan of Jamal Pasha who is reported to decide to crucify the Excellency Abdul Baha and his blessed wife in Kermel mount when the city is evacuated and the Turkish troops are retreated.”

One of the most important actions done by the Baha’is to occupy Palestine for the Jewish people and of course the English ones was purchasing the occupied lands and delivering them to Jewish people. Later on, it led to Palestine land to be occupied.

Janice Wright writes about this adventure: “Earlier 1918 A.D. the Baha’is became relaxed after Haifa port was confiscated by English troops and Palestine was kept by England ordered by the nations community at the end of World War I.

In a short period of time and due to his method of leadership and his followers’ behaviors, Abdul Baha attracted the British officials’ respect. Those who were in charge of administration of Palestine.

Rouhieh Maxwell (Shogi Effendi’s widow) has said after the establishment of Israel:

“I prefer the youngest religions (Bahaism) to be grown from the newest countries of the world (Israel). In fact, it should be said that our future (Bahaism) and (Israel) are joined like the chain loops.”[۱]

If we know that the establishment of Israel government was of the ideals of the British Jewish people and the English people were of the first ones who tried Jewish to emigrate to occupied lands from all over the world and invested enormously, we will easily figure out that; in fact, Zionism and Bahaism haven’ been at first separated from each other.

There are a lot of examples of the Jewish who turned to Bahaism cult after newly turning to Islam. They not only helped Bahaism expanded, but also were after supported by Britain and achieved their political aims.

There were many Baha’s who were of the famous and influential Jewish families who played key roles in Iranian economy and policy not only during Qajar periods of time, but also during the yours after Pahlavi periods of time. For instance, Hakim descendants during Qajar and Pahlavi periods of time. They were from the generation of a Jewish emigrant called Hakim Soleiman who had emigrated to Iran during Fath Ali Shah Qajar period of time.

Visiting Abdul Baha (Abbas Effendi) in Bahiji garden during the years 1909-1910 A.D., nearly forty years before the establishment of Israel by Isaac ibn Zubayr, one of Zionism head along with his wife is indicating the deep relationships between Bahaism and Zionism.

In recognition of these relationships in helping Israel government established, the Baha’is benefited special privileges such as exemption of Baha’i properties, endowments, and related assets in the occupied territories from government taxes and levies; recognition of Baha’i administrative bodies, holy days, and marriage contracts; and, most importantly, the recognition of the Baha’i Faith alongside Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.

In contrast, the Baha’is have remained the loyal with Israel. They have progressed to the highest ranks and positions of the government helped by Heveyda during Pahlavi regime.
