The social education capacity in Hojjatieh association possesses deep roots in the history of its establishment. This history makes commenting on educational criteria of the association difficult. It is an organization define by some critics as semi-sectarian or cultural organization whose features are being compared by the sectarian ones.
For or against the Islamic Revolution?
After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Hojjatieh association announced to continue its activities in the directions of the Revolution aims: “Aiming the continuation of the system of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran till the emergence of Imam of the Time (P.H.), the association has obliged itself to obey the guidance of the supreme leader of the Revolution in political and social fields seriously.” However, after the establishment of the Islamic Republic on the social and administrative atmosphere of the country, it wasn’t the safe place for the association.
The association didn’t forget its root. It returned gradually to its theological rudiments with the passage of time to such an extent that the pack of association has been stood against the Islamic Revolution school.
Years after the Islamic revolution, the various culture dimensions of the Islamic Revolution are against Hojjatieh movement. Today, they have even explained and interpreted their previous positions.
Today, the gap between Shias and Sunnis is originated from the view of Hojjatieh association.
