The Baha’i leaders have claimed for innovating a teaching called the balance of livelihood while the concept of balance of livelihood had been existent in the religions before: Additionally, the Baha’i leaders have ordered people to be silent against two great barriers of balance of livelihood; that is, the plundered and inefficient government.
Abdul Baha has said concerning the importance of the fulfillment of the teaching of self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism: “The 6th teaching of the Excellency Bahaullah is the balance in livelihood. That is, rules and systems must be legislated in order for human beings to live comfortably… The issue of livelihood balance is really important and the prosperity of human world will be impossible if this issue isn’t fulfilled.[1]”
۱- Contrary to Baha’ism claim, the innovation of the principle of the concept of livelihood balance among various religions has been existent in the divine religions. The divine religions have invited people to establish justice in all dimensions of life including livelihood. For instance, two following principles are mentioned for establishing the social justice in Islam:
In one side, God orders human beings to nourish in the holy Quran:
“وَ اَنفِقُوا فی سَبیل الله…” [البقره/۱۹۵]
“Spend your wealth for the cause of Allah…” [Al-Baqareh/195]
In other side, God orders Muslims to help the needy for the social balance by legislating commandments like title: “We have also ordered title. Act according to the holy Quran.[2]” consequently, is it a new teaching for a new prophet to be sent by God?!
۲- Abdul Baha claims to explain this Baha’s forged principle that says several rules must be legislated for all human beings to live comfortably. No wise human being and community deny the necessity for the existent of rule and law in the community because he/she it knows that law is necessary for the discipline and the fulfillment of ideals.
۳- One of the important barriers in the fulfillment of people’s balance of livelihood is plundering the countries resources by Colonialism and tyrant and inefficient governments. However, we can observe not only the Baha’i leaders have presented a strategy for the fulfillment of livelihood balance; but also, they have created a theological secure margin for these two barriers.
As the Baha’i leaders believe that people must be obedient against the aggressive tyrants like sheep without any resistance: “If a tyrant tyrannize you and attack you, the divine disciples must be surrendered like sheep. So, they mustn’t resist; but they must counteract sword with nectar and milk. They must suffer wounds and kiss the killer’s hand…[۳]”
Also, the Baha’i leaders have avoided people to oppose the inefficient:
“اِنَّ الحُریه تنتهی عئاقبها الی الفتنه التی لاتخمد نارها”.[۴]
Additionally, the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism has stated:
“The Almighty God has bestowed the superficial governments to the kings. Nobody is allowed to oppose the heads of the countries.[5]”
