One of tricks of Colonialism to expand its Colonial plans is to aim the nations’ cultures and beliefs. They have well found out that the cultural attack and intellectual-doctrinal domination open paths to plunder exultantly. This method of encroachment has been existant since past and continued till now.
Babism and Baha’ism are two cults which came to existant covered in a social and then religious movement in Iran. The cults which wered supported by the Colonial governments against the original culture of Iran as their means.
Baha’ism was emerged in Iran when several lands were separated from Iran after several fightings between Iran after several fightings between Iran and Russia. Although Ali Muhammad Shirazi (Bab) was born in Shiraz city and Hussein Ali Nouri (the founder of Baha’ism) was born in Tehran city but this cult waas active in all parts of the Iranian country. The regional measures and activities of Baha’ism havent been investigated inside the country completely; so Asghar heydari, the author and researcher of history domain has published a book called “Baha’ism in Azerbaijan helped by the center for the islamic Revolution documents and investigated the founction and presence of Baha’ism in this part of iran since past till now including provinces” the eastern Azerbaijan, the western Azerbaijan, Ardabil, and Zanjan.
It is written in the book that: “Azerbaijan was of the most ceners in which the baha’is invested too much. They have active forces there; including sistan village where many trained forces were sent to other parts of the country in order to expand the Baha’i proselytizing.
The book continues to explain about the plans of the Baha’ism organization for the future of the region and to present documents about harassing Muslim people of the region by the Baha’is.
Of course, it is worthy to be mentioned that these persecutions have been continued till now. The ex-Baha’i who have turned against the cult are being encountered by many problems caused by Baha’ism. For instance, Mr. Ataullah Qaderi who has explained about the Baha’ism organization’s measures to harass the native people of the region in his diary.
