In all political movements and parties, the method of electing the intelligence power or the same leader or leaders of the party can indicate that party’s look at democracy and freedom of election. However; concerning the deviant cult of Baha’ism, this issue is different. After Shoqi Effendi became abortive and one of two pillars of the legitimacy of Baha’ism leadership[1] was dangled and even the newly-established universal house of justice elected by Shoqi Effendi was dissolved by Rouhieyeh Maxwell[2], the Heifa universal house of justice gained the Baha’ism leadership power (after 6 years led by Rouhieh Maxwell and the disciples of the faith) in 1963 A.D.
Explanation: Abdul Baha had appointed two pillars of the guardian of the faith and the foundation of the universal house if justice to design the leadership system. In order to make the positions of these two pillars clear, he had considered the universal house of justice council as to have chastity position bestowed by the Almighty God and had appointed the position of guardianship of the faith as the supervisor of the council:
“اما بیت عدل الذی جعله الله مصدر کل خیر و مصوناً مِن کُل خطا”
“However, the universal house of justice (appointed as infallible by God to be the source of each benevolence and to be infallible) must be formed through public elections; that is, the faithful people… and the guardian of the faith is the holy chairman of the assembly and is the greatest member.”
Meantime, the leadership foundation of the universal house of justice dispossessed all of his powers and responsibilities in favor of itself and the lack of supervision caused it to be totalitarian. Because Abdul Baha had assigned the position of the guardian of the faith to encounter the members of the universal house of justice if they sin.
In order to be familiar with the election of the universal house of justice members, we ask you to pay attention to the report of one of the formal Baha’ism sites concerning 2008 A.D. elections.[3]
According to the formal statistics of the report, nearly 1500 people have participated at the elections out of whom 500 people have sent their votes distantly. In this elections, there is no candidate and no propaganda or election debate has been hld. Everybody can vote 9 people out of this population.
Votes are secret and counting them is so. Nobody will be aware of the consequence; accordingly, nobody can oppose the result.
The executor of election is a panel appointed by the universal house of justice, too.
Is it really called elections?! Half of the followers of the Baha’ism organization is women who are deprived of being the members of the universal house of justice as the highest leadership foundation of the cult![4]
