Those who resemble spiders according to Abdul Baha

Abdul Baha has introduced the Iranian people as those who resemble spiders and fuzzy ones due to not believing in Baha’ism. Abdul Baha has introduced the Iranian people as those who resemble spiders and fuzzy ones due to not believing in Baha’ism. However, although it isn’t just the only insult against the Iranian people, but the reason for Abdul Baha’s anger with the Iranian people is that they are sensitive with investigating the truth. So, he has forbidden his works to be translated to Persian language!

Repining the Iranian people for not believing in Baha’ism, the Baha’ism leader has introduced the Iranian people to be ignorant and to resemble the spiders-claiming for weaving nets and misgiving by the Iranian people against the Baha’i creed Abdul Baha considered the Iranian people’s obstinancy to such an extent that just God can make them awake.

As we read in some parts of the book the disciples of Baha’i faith narrated by Abdul Baha: “It is surprising that the Iranian people are still ignorant, anxious and unstable. The divine call has awakened the people of the west living thousands of Kilometers away but in Iran where is the right land, the sleepers are a lot and afflicted by dream. The seraph trumpet didn’t make them awake, too. Maybe, a day will come for God to awaken Iran. Most Iranian people resemble spiders. The more you tear their nets, the more they produce nets. The more you settle their doubts, the more they make another ones…[۱]

The answer to Abdul Baha’s insult:

  1. This is not the first time for the Baha’i leaders to insult the Iranian people. The Baha’i leaders have over and over insulted the Iranian people using various titles such as bigoted ignorant, blind, tyrant[2], villain and savage[3].
  2. Contrary to Abdul Baha’s accusation most Iranian people are truth seekers. The evidence for this claim is accepting Islam arbitrarily and expanding it. However, they are also strict with not accepting the null and void; whether it is Buddhism created by Monguls or Babism and Baha’ism made by the Colonialism.
  3. The real reason for Abdul Baha’s anger with the Iranian people is due to Iranian people’s curiosity and sensitivity in investigating the truth. For this reason, the Baha’i leaders have allowed their works to be translated to each language except the Persian.[4]
