Pahlavi periods of time provided a really suitable opportunity for the development, growth and influence of Baha’ism in Iran. The Shah’s supports and the executive posts and governmental positions given to the Baha’is caused Iran to become a secure and fruitful for the Baha’is. The Baha’is were using this economic power even women to proselytize and recruit. They were prescribing getting married between Baha’is and Muslims as proselytizing method.

According to SAVAK report a meeting was held Shiraz city in one of the Baha’is house where 12 Baha’is were present. There were nearly great number of Baha’is were living in Shiraz city comparing other cities of Iran. After their theological ceremony, they were discussing about the economic position of the Iranian Baha’is. One of the participants of the meeting said: “The Baha’is were successful in the Islamic countries and can get what they want. All the capitals of banks, imports and money in the Iranian society are related to the Baha’is and the Jewish. All the skyscrapers of Tehran city, Shiraz and Isfahan belong to the Baha’is. They economy of this country is running by the Baha’is and the Jewish. Hoveyda is from a Baha’I family some hidden agents of Iran are going to condemn Hoveyda but he is one of the best servants of God’s faith. This year, 1350 S.H., he has help the assembly and paid 15000 tomans. Baha’i Men, don’t let the Muslims to dominate the affairs.” (Seyyed Saeed Zahed Zahedani, Baha’ism in Iran, the center of the Islamic Revolution center, p. 251, reporting to SAVAK dated 1350/05/19).

According to documents left by the Pahlavi regime, there are valuable information about treacherous activities of the heads of this cult. For example, the memoirs of some people such as Fadhlullah Mohtadi, Abdul Hussein Ayati, Hassan Nikou and etc. who have been writing for Baha’ism for years and then repented and turned to Islam confirm the treacheries of this cult.

The extensive influence and activities of the Baha’is in higher levels of the administrative systems of Pahlavi period of time are clear and obvious for everybody. For example, Hojabr Yazdani, and Sabet Pasal the owner of Pepsi company and engineer Arajman, the owner of Arj factory.

The Excellency Imam Khomeini (P.H.) stated: “The independence of the country and its economy are under the control of the Zionists who were appeared in this Baha’i party. After a short while, all the economy of this country has been controlled by their agents with this deadly silence. The Iranian TV is a base of spying for the Jewish and the governments are observing and confirming it… (Imam Khomeini, Sahifeh-e-Noor, Vol. 7, p. 44.)
