During a special program on the solar month of Farwardin 17 entitled: “Islamic Republic Lobby in America”, the Voice of America channel tried to make Iran’s influence in the United States appear dangerous and violating human rights, along with Amnesty International’s Baha’i reporter Raha Bahraini. Referring to the lobbying in America, this program claimed for the Islamic Republic’s attempt to influence on the academic, media, study, commercial, legislative and executive centers of the United States and gave the “National Council of Iranians of America” and the “Alawi Foundation” as examples of the system’s influence agents in the aforementioned institutions. Despite referring to the lobbying of groups opposed to the system of the government, this program also challenges their influence on this matter. As a reporter for Amnesty International, Raha Bahraini claimed that “Mohammed Ja’far Amir Mahallati”, the permanent representative of Iran in 1367 and 1368 S.H. in the United Nations and the current teacher of the United States universities has been in a continuous effort to deny the actions of the Islamic Republic and to convince the special rapporteur of human rights and other elements during his term of office in coordination with Iranian diplomats.

The purpose of publishing such programs and accusations against active Iranian organizations and institutions in America, scientists and businessmen working in this country is to limit them and provoke the American statesmen to confront Iran and put more pressures and sanctions against Iran in which the Baha’i organization is also shared.
