One of the beliefs of the Baha’is is the believing in the abrogation of Islam and the prophethood of a new prophet named Hossein Ali Nouri who has appeared after the Prophet of Islam and brought a new book called Bayan.
According to the Baha’is, Seyyed Ali Mohammad Shirazi has been the forerunner of the one whom God will manifest and has given good news of his coming and the one whom God will manifest is Hossein Ali Nouri, known as Baha’u’llah, who later claimed to be a prophet.
Baha’is claim to prove their authenticity:
The Prophet of Islam is not the last of the Prophets and his prophethood does not end with him, because prophethood is a divine grace that must continue, that is why another prophet must appear after the Prophet of Islam who is Hossein Ali Nouri.
In response, it should be said:
First: How can it be proven that Hossein Ali Nouri is God’s grace and how is it known that Mirza Hossein Ali is a prophet, because different people have claimed prophethood throughout history. To prove prophecy, at least three signs must be presented which are as follows:
– Through a miracle
– Introduction of previous prophets
– Also, the harmony of their teachings with the monotheistic revious religions and with the intellect and nature of truth and falsehood
In the meantime, what are your alleged prophet, Mirza Hossein Ali’s miracle and honor and sign?
We can see in the history of their lives that they had different claims, for example Sayyed Ali Muhammad first claimed to be the gate for Imam of the Time, and after a while he claimed to be Mahdi, and he extended his claims to divinity and lordship, or Hossein Ali Nouri claimed to be the one whom God will manifest, and then He called himself a prophet for a while, then he claimed to be God, and while he was in prison, he uttered the sentence {There is no God but I who has been imprisoned and been alone. (The Baha’is, p. 421 quoted by Mobin, p. 286).
It is interesting to be noted that these claims are contradictory and it is possible to understand the invalidity of their claims using these contradictions.
Secondly: If the Prophet of Islam is not the terminator of prophethood and this grace should be continued through the coming of the next prophet, then why did this grace not continue after Hossein Ali Noori, who you claim is a prophet, and no prophet came after him?
If they say that there is no new emergence now, it is because not much time has passed and no new conditions have been created
It should be answered that why after 20 years since Seyyed Ali Mohammad Shirazi’s claimed, Hossein Ali Nouri appeared and asserted his claims, while not much time had passed and no new conditions had arisen.
Thirdly: It is said explicitly inverse 40 of Surah Al-Ahzab of the Holy Quran:
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَد مِّن رِّجَالِكُم وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـنَ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَلِيما
(Muhammad was not the father of any of your men, but the Messenger of God and the end of the Prophets, and God is All-Knowing)
The Prophet of Islam is the terminator of the prophets and messengers, and there will be no other prophet after him, and the Baha’is took the seal to mean a jewel and said that the meaning of the verse was that the Prophet of Islam is the jewel of the prophets and messengers of God. This is a wrong assumption because خاتم means the terminator. for this reason, the ring is called seal to end the letters with the inscription on it.
Fourthly: Mirza Hossein Ali himself has confessed the finality of the Prophet of Islam and says:
Peace be upon the lord of the world and the teacher of the nations, who completed the prophetic mission and the Prophethood and upon his descendants and companions (the Baha’is, p. 437, Ishraqat, p. 293).
Apparently, this fake cult does not even believe in the teachings of its leaders, including its main leader and self-proclaimed prophet!!!!!
Fifth: Due to the finality of the prophet, divine grace is not cut off, but this grace continues through Imamate, because Imamate is the continuation of the path of prophethood and mission, and the Almighty God extends his grace to the universe, especially to humans through the infallible Imam (peace be upon him) and continues the flow of guidance and prosperity of mankind. Wasn’t the goal of Baha’ism to remove the divine guardianship of the infallibles, peace be upon them, in order to dominate the Islamic society according to the plan of the historical enemies of Islam and Shia? To conquer this position and put it in the service of the arrogant front and global Zionism, that is, the same goal that Baha’ism is currently doing?
And the sixth reason is that as soon as Hossein Ali Nouri was released from prison with the mediation and influence of the Russian government (he was sentenced to death for participating in the assassination of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar) why did he declare himself a prophet in Baghdad? aren’t there the relationship between the Russian government prison, his release from prison and living in Iraq and British influence in the Ottoman government?
