A peace promised by a phantom called Bab which has never been fulfilled

The Baha’is consider Ali Muhammad Shirazi as the promised Mahdi of Islam. The one who was shot nearly two centuries ago after his aborted emergence. The Baha’is believe that the reason for not establishing peace and justice by him is that the day of judgment and the emergence of the promised one are the same and it needs necessary for 50 thousand days or year to be passed for the fulfilment of the emergence aims. While the emergence had happened before the Day of Judgment and it must have been fulfilled so far according to the Baha’is basis!

Contrary to the Baha’is claim, the fulfillment of peace and general and universal justice will be at the same time with emergence by the promised Mahdi (P.H.) of Islam not 50 thousand days or years after claiming for abolishment of Islam!

The Almighty God has considered the fulfillment of justice and peace by the Excellency Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance), according to the statements of the Holy Imams (peace be upon them):

“یَملَأُ الله بِهِ الاَرضَ قِسطاً وَ عَدلاً کَما مُلِئَت ظُلماً و جَورا”[۱]

“By him, God will expand justice on the earth as filled by tyranny.”

Consequently, the Baha’i proselytizers answer the following question that goes: If Imam of the time (P.H.) has emerged, why hasn’t peace and justice been established? :they consider the day of judgment and emergence of the promised one as the same and say: “The Holy Quran has mentioned this stage and the growth manner as lasting the day of judgment for 50 thousand days. (Pointing out the verse 4 of Ma’arej surah). The seed which has been planted move than 160 years ago is growing now and will gradually yield.[2]

An answer to Proselytizers’ Justification

  1. The Baha’is are going to introduce the Day of Judgment and the emergence of promised Mahdi as the same in order to generalize the time for the day of judgment and the time for fulfilment of the emergence of promised Mahdi aims the day of judgment and emergence are two independent events. The Day of Judgment or the physical resurrection, the end of the world will be fulfilled shortly after the emergence of the Excellency Mahdi (P.H.). as the Islamic narrations have stressed on both events and considered the emergence of Mahdi (P.H.) before the day of judgment:

“لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا يَوْمٌ وَاحِدٌ لَطَوَّلَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ فِيهِ فَيَمْلَأَ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطاً وَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْراً وَ ظُلْماً”[۳]

“Ever, it remains just one day of the world lifetime, God will expand that day in order for rising to be happened at that day in order for the earth to be filled with justice as filled with tyranny.

۲) The Baha’is has considered the Day of Judgment and the emergence of the promised Mahdi (P.H.) as the same and have conditioned the fulfillment of the emergence signs or the very Day of Judgment started by the emergence of Ali Muhammad Shirazi to the passage of 50,000 days. While the verse adduced by them has considered the angels’ ascension as 50,000 years not 50,000 days.[4]

“(Whereby) the angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.” [Al-Ma’arej/4]
