Instagram is a network which is based on photos and videos; that is it is needed for posting a matter in Instagram to have a photo or video. Instagram enables a user to publish his photos or videos in other social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and OK. Also, the user is able to default digital filters inside Instagram for his/her photos and videos.

The first version of Instagram was published in Mehr, 1389. This media network became popular among users and its addressees became more than 10 million by Khordad 1390 and also 600 million by Azar 25, 1395. According to the latest statistics by Instagram, more than 800 million active users are active each month at the moment.

Instagram social media has a mission beyond its main one: making mental insecurity and publishing false and forged news. During the previous years, Instagram has omitted the posts concerning the martyrdom of Lieutenant general Hajj Qasem Soleimani. It has also blocked hundreds of Instagram pages completely. It has removed the Iranian users posts concerning condemning the assassination of the unclear scientist Martyr Fakhrizadeh and has also omitted the news concerning the martyrdom of commander of an army Hejazi extensively.

Now, Instagram is removing the posts concerning Baha’ism cult criticism although it is claiming for freedom of expression.
